Girard Perregaux 4991 wrist watches news:
Ticino is a watch budget nice with a look of pilot cool without the price tag associated with it like most of the drivers of 47 mm as Nav Steinhart/Debaufre B - Uhr, or even more if the IWC Big pilot. Ticino is also available in this cool stealth black case with a completely sterile dial. Very pleasant touch. The watch is entirely Chinese, but good value, especially if it is all that you can offer. Unitas sinuous manuals clone movement in it.
the more the stay the same . In Febuary 1991 I bought my first Rolex , a pepsi GMT. I wore the watch non-stop for eleven years , one day I foolishly sold it and bought a Panerai, I realized instantly I had made a mistake nothing against Panerai . So for the past six years I have been thinking about my Pepsi , but was reluctant to replace it because of the price increases .Other watches came and went but nothing filled the void, so three weeks ago today I bought my new GMT ,for more than twice what I paid in 1991:eek:. So much for gaining wisdom as you age . My point in all of this is that I believe this is the perfect watch for me just as was 17 years ago , this is the first watch that I ever lusted after and seems to be my horological soulmate . So it's nice to know that I wasn't a dumb kid when I bought this watch the first time . This watch is here to stay . I was going to take some new pictures but my wife took the camera to Maui. Thanks for reading.. Danny
With the 8500 calibre taking off like crazy, what should the new old stock POs, be going for?Looking for 45 on 0range-Orange.
.........a Nautilus problem that is.Ok, let me start off by saying, that my dreams are haunted by this freaking watch.....had a chance to fondle a 5711 a few weeks ago and it may have given me some kind of a virus.....I remember posting here a few years back, something like patek does nothing for me, that statement still remains, however, the only watch I'm absolutely obsessed with is the Nautilus.I'm contemplating the unthinkable here boys.........consolidating.Am I crazy.I may need to be pimpslapped by some one.
HiWhat % does US customs impose when bringing a watch back to the US?I plan on going overseas and buying at a duty free shop at the airport. What happens if I dont declare it upon arrival? How will they know. I once brought a panerai and didnt declare it. Maybe just got lucky? Thanks,Tom
