Well back in Espana after 4 weeks away and 2 FANTASTIC weeks in USA.Really Thanks to everyone that met/talked and looked after me.After 4 weeks LOTS of packages, ranging from antique watch makers tools to this LOVELY American watch from 1935.WALTHAM~~21 Jewel RIVERSIDE~Rolled Gold cushion case with fixed lugsOriginal Enamel dial~c.1935~Now lOOk at THIS movement:21 Jewel with brass chatons, bright steel winding gears, cut bi-mettalic compensated balance and precision regulator (fast/retard mechanism) (really its magnificent)Movement and Case match 100%and Adj 2 temp, NOT bad for $350Only in America!! New owner - concerned by date setting!
Hi everyone,Sorry for this long first post!I bought my first Longines, an automatic Spirit (Black) L2.699.4.53.2 (Men's) and received it yesterday. Having read around before purchasing, I know that the model isn't popular, something that seems to be confirmed by being unable to find this series covered in any online manuals at Longines and very few forums, but I really, really liked the design and understated colours.So, I'm really happy! However, two things have confused and worried me a bit and I'd like to ask your advice...1. On returning home from work at about 9.00pm, I unpacked my watch from the box, read the warranty and basic instructions inside the warranty and reset the time and date. 15400 fit a 5.75" wrist?
I have a skinny wrist at 5.75 and looking to obtain my first AP (15400). Anyone have an idea of how it'll fit?By comparison, I'm able to slip my index finger through the strap of a 16610 Sub at its tightest setting.
