- This is a wonderful watch for the price. Dressy, elegant looking. A little larger than I expected. It was easy to adjust the metal band to fit my wrist. Very accurate time keeper.

Girard Perregaux 8020 wrist watches news:
The Environment at the forefront of the Brand’s 175th anniversary. When it comes to the global environmental crisis, everyone agrees time is of the essence. With that in mind, Jaeger-LeCoultre – in partnership with actor and activist Leonardo DiCaprio – has created its "Time to Care" programme to benefit the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the California Community Foundation. The fund-raising focal point of the initiative will be the sale of two uniquely executed timepieces in the Fall of 2008:- a one-of-a-kind Master Compressor Extreme LAB, worn by DiCaprio to the premiere of his documentary, "The 11th Hour", valued at US$300,000.- a one-of-a-kind edition of the Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2, valued at approximately US$400,000, equipped with a state-of-the-art, first-ever spherical tourbillon. This piece will be the first watch in the Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2 series to be delivered anywhere in world. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the
Okay,I thought this would be an interesting debate,Mr.Berlusconi, the Prime Minister of Italy, owns a Vacheron Constantine of 600 000 Euros(Mamma mia!!)...I know that the Prime Minister of Croatia,Sanader, wears a Rolex Daytona-some special edition with diamonds(I still don`t know the price, but I would try to find it out,though)....Prime minister of my country,Nikola Gruevski has the same Tissot PRS 22 as I have, but with white dial.Fulfill the list with your information, please!
Many of us have some hand-winders. I really like them. These two are my favorites, though I have some others. Show us your winders, please!Louis Erard Regulateur faceback1923 Hamilton with 910 movement (back is hard to open, so no photo)
A quick note/thread to discuss some of today's Christie's auction results. I bid on a particular reference today (did not win, but came damned close). Some references seemed to do OK, while others really surprised me on their low price. Yes, it's no secret that Patek sales are slow and auction prices are soft, but some of these results are quite interesting (in particular on the more complicated references) and make me wonder if we will continue to see a downward trend for some iconic and historically auction favorites.Let me know what you think. To all the fellow Paneristi - long time lurker. I just experienced something that not sure has been well covered. For my first Pam 422, I purchased this through an AD, no issues, friendly service but got ripped off on price - I did get two free straps, a T-shirt and a key chain. But I overpaid by a good $2000 USD.Now for my newest addition Pam 590, I decided I would go gray market and save a ton of money. So I did and I thought there were no issues and did save a lot of money.Fast forward, it turns out that my 590 crown has problems in not being able to wind fully. Something is a-miss. I sent it back and it was fixed by the gray market seller - actually really fast. Same issue again, so this time I took it to a connection at the AD who had his expert take a peek as a favor. It turns out the 590 has had original Panerai parts substituted with generic servicing parts. My AD said this will be much more common as the MFGs take all of the movements made in house, limit parts distri
