Audemars Piguet 67420BA.ZQ.A082CU.01 wrist watches news:
At SIHH 2016 in January, Audemars Piguet has gone for what many would consider old-school horological luxury ¡ª releasing a new version of its Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in classical yellow gold. Why yellow gold, you might ask ¡ª a material that has in recent years fallen out of vogue in the watch aficionado community. Audemars Piguet, whose motto “To break the rules, you must first master them” is on bold display here, refers to it as luxury watchmaking’s “most elemental material… the universal emblem of indestructible beauty, energy and light… symboliz[ing] wealth and power.” Like the most recent models of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar, in steel and rose gold (and more on which can be discovered here), this watch has a 41-mm case in the classical octagonal style of the Royal Oak collection and featuring a clear, glareproof sapphire caseback. It has a screw-locked crown, ensuring water-resistance of 20 meters. The au courant b
My only Oris is the watch I've had the longest.I've noticed that some Oris watches have red rotors and some don't...why is this?
Hey all.I'm very new to the world of watches.I was recently offered a new Rolex DateJest from a friend who received it as a corporate gift, but when push came to shove, I just couldn't afford what she wanted for it.It got me looking into watches as a gift (obviously I've missed Christmas, but all good gifts take planning...)I found out that I really know nothing about watches.I love the look of watches with mechanical movements - especially when that movement is visisble through the dial, or with a clear back.I want a watch that's waterproof - not that she's going diving in it, but can wear it when snow-skiing, etc without worrying about it.I started looking around, looked at TAG, etc, but I can't tell on most of these if they are a mechanical movement, or just a battery-operated quartz.Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should be looking at?I'd suggest a price point of $1000 to start with.Thanks.Nick.
so Since i got my Chrono-Cockpit i have pretty much been glued to it, and just realized that the (4) is marked as IIII rather than IV, i then did some looking and noticed that Rolex also markes their Roman numeral this way. Does anyone know the deal here or did I get trained wrong as is it supposed to be IIII
Please forgive but I know nothing about Breitling watches. I went to look at a Rolex and found a Breitling Airwolf in mint condition with box for $2,500.I have a few questions:1. What does anyone think of this watch?2. Is the Airwolf hard to come by or a dime a dozen?3. Is this a good deal? Thanks!!Allan
