- For the price it's a good value. It has a weird black patina that I think was meant to make it look burnished, but is just black. It is comfortable and keeps time well, so I'll keep it, but it looks like the price you pay for it.

- Wear this almost every day. The 2 tone is perfect to complement people who like and wear both yellow and white gold or metals. Easy to read dial and fashionable.

I could not resist...V-Serial DaytonaJoel
I dont know enough about watches to say anything technical, but these are two great watches. The Rolex GMT II Pepsi is a stone classic. The Omega Seamaster GMT is a classic in waiting.Lol X and Perdu have both done great reviews of the Omega recently, so I will just add a couple of my own observations.....Bezel....Rolex wins easily. Both in the colour combo and ease of use. That coin edge bezel will never be bettered !Lume...Omega wins by a street. I was always surprised at how poor the lume was on both my Rollies. Now I've got an Omega I can actually see the time in the dark as well.Date feature....I loath and detest the Rolex cyclops, so its a fantastic change to see the date without having to angle the cyclops just right.Size and weight....the Omega is slightly bigger (41.5mm to 40mm) and heavier than the Rolex. This is no bad thing, but is not really a factor one way or the other. Its only when you place them side by side that you really notice it.Caseback.....the engraved caseback on t
Have just ordered an aftermarket rubber strap for my Panerai 233. It is a Bonatto Cinturini. As anyone used this strap before. I am not sure if the holes can fit tubes in. Will it cause any damage if i mount the straps without using the tubes and just pit the push pins in?
Hi All - I was chuffed to receive my first Rolex today, a Sub No Date, brand new from an AD. Now I'm not sure if my eyes are going wonky, or if I just don't understand how a divers watch works, but I have some questions on the bezel - It seems to me that when the 0 marker on the bezel lines up with the 12 O'clock on the dial, the 3,6,9s dont line up, and (obviously) when the 3,6,9, line up the 12 doesn't line up. I've posted some pictures below. I'd love some advice as to whether if these 'issues' are in fact normal (if so, then great!) and if not, what I should ask AD to do. Happy to post more pics if helpful. Thank you so much for your thoughts!0 minute marker straight, 15/30/45 crooked?IMG_5390.JPG0 minute marker crooked, 15/30/45 straight?IMG_5393.JPGIMG_5394.JPG
I ask this question because I am looking to buy a BLNR. My nearest AD helped me out recently dealing with a fake watch I got stuck with, so I wanted to do business with them on a new watch. But they don't have any in stock, so I also have been looking here in the classified forum for pricing info. One BLNR I saw had a msrp tag of $8,950, yet I see prices up to 10k. I guess this makes sense if the supply is so low and there is a lot of demand, but I was surprised that a used watch could cost me more than a new one, lol.
