Changing the Date on my Omega P.Ocean 42 mm.
On my watch the date is moving to the next day when the minute hand is 5 minutes before 12, is this normal? or should i have to send the watch to be checked? can someone help me ??Thanks in advance.

No Winder Or Cheap Winder?
I just bought, on eBay, a cheap winder. It'll wind eight watches, and will hold an additional 12. I bid on it knowing that it was likely nowhere near the quality of other winders I've seen which are priced in the four figures.What I'm wondering, though, is which would be better: To use no winder at all, and engage in calesthenics to keep my watches wound, or to use a cheap winder, like the one I'll recieve on Monday, to (at least) keep the watches moving?Just wondrin'...

Tried on the platinum Apollo 11 40th Anniversary Speedmaster
I didn't know about this particular Speedmaster model until I stopped into a local AD today. Only 69 were produced and I was lucky enough to try one on. Truth is, I asked to take a picture of it in it's locked display case and the associate said Why don't you take a picture of it on your wrist instead! It's made of platinum and has a great heft to it. You definitely feel the weight when it's on the wrist. At 42mm it fit well on my 7.25 wrist. It has a sapphire crystal and 1861 movement. There is an anniversary marker on the sub-dial as well as on the caseback. The bracelet is updated with screws and feels very comfortable. It comes with a gorgeous, individually numbered display case and anniversary coin (sorry no pics of it since I forgot about those once the Speedmaster was on my wrist). The watch has a MSRP of $135,000. Found this pic online of the complete set...

Daytona or day date president?

I am looking at either a 1998 Daytona bi metal 116523, or a classic day-date president. The president also has a factory champagne & diamond dial with an aftermarket diamond bezel (I know about aftermarket :-( ). There is just one problem with the president... the serial number is slightly worn and I can¡¯t quite make out if the first di
