I've changed hands on my Air-King. Pics inside...
I bought my Air-King 114200 basically on impulse since I liked the white dial, and the new upgraded case and bracelet. But almost immediately I felt that the hands were too thin and short.I have now changed the hands, and it seems I have gotten the longer hands from the Oyster Perpetual 116000.Before:After:On wrist before:On wrist after:When I picked it up from the AD I was initially very happy about the changebut now I have second thoughtssince I now realise that Hannes' did get the new broader DJ hands on his Air-King, and this picture was my inspiration:I guess I need to use my AK for some time before I decide to keep it like this, or change back to originalor perhaps someone here can convince me that my "new" Air-King looks better now...Best,A

Hi AllRecently bought a PO which I'm delighted with! It has a co axial escapement meaning service times are lengthened to approx every 7/8 years. My question is regarding the seals, are they ok for this length of time or do they need checking every couple of years or so?and would this have to be sent back to Omega to check? As if yes this would defeat the object of increasing the service times. I'm using the watch for normal swimming ie not diving. Any ideas?Thanks
