I have been bitten by the Japan Only watch bug. Here is one affordable GS lookalike that caught my eye. It's a high accuracy quartz with a 10 year battery life. Cal. 8f32+/-20s per annumPic from Watch Tanaka
Hi folks, I hope I'm not being intrusive when I ask for your assistance in a people's choice vote for my next watch strap from Homewatchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/56904.htmThere is the open thread, please help me choose. Poll closes 1/1/2012Thank you!
As for this thread:Which Kinetic?I decided to buy the white and the blue, so yesterday arrived the white...I like it a lot, the only thing I dislike is that it takes an eternity to charge, according to the user manual (and it's true ) you have to swing it 250 times, to have it charged for one and a half day , if it's a daily wearer, that won't be a problem...Well, for less than $150, I will have my mouth shut Next time, a Kinetic Direct Drive will be the choice Maybe I will have to use it continuosly for some days, until it get enough charge to last for at least 4 monthsanyway a great watch
So, as noted in other posts I am on the hunt for a couple of Rolexes (great response so far from other TRF members)I have stumbled across a seller looking to part with a stunning Breitling Airwolf here in good old Australia and it's caught my attention.Any thoughts on a decent price to offer? I looked at one at $2800 a while back but that had the UTC (is that what its called?) on the bracelet, this one does not.Age 2011, all papers, boxes etc and it looks MINT!HELP!!!!
I love my PAM104, but sometimes the deployant clasp bothers me. The clasp is a little too curved and digs into my wrist or the two push buttons do. All of my straps are compatible with the deployant so I don't quite want to swap the buckle out for a tang buckle. At home it's ok, but at the office I may be putting to much pressure on it. How does your deployant feel?
