Hublot 709.ZM.1770.RX wrist watches news:
What To Buy')">Recently, we spoke with the Rolex boutique in Beverly Hills, and they confirmed that Rolex has about 2,000 SKUs even though there are only a few product families to choose from. That effectively means that there are tons of available Rolex watches to choose from. And that doesn't even include Rolex's rather intense catalog of vintage and no-longer-produced models. Many people know they want a Rolex watch but aren't sure what model to get. Some people simply want the name on their wrist and are looking for the least expensive model. Other people have a closer connection with a specific model's history, or simply feel that one particular Rolex fits their lifestyle best. Even then, with all the options available, it can be difficult to decide what your first Rolex watch should be. So let's take a brief look at what Rolex watches are available, and how to satisfy the various reasons you may have to buy one. What Are You Looking For?As we discussed in Part 1 of the Guide To Buy
There are far more watches costing $100,000 than you'd guess; and many that exceed that price. If you are going to spend that type of money on a watch, it might as well have a unique novelty, considering you aren't going to wear it very often. Here we have an interesting toy for the uber-wealthy, from obscure watch maker Mermod Freres. What an ostentatious sounding name even. The Primo 4 Musical is a manually wound mechanical watch with a musical twist. It has four disc with grooves underneath that play a bit like a cog in a music box. Each disc contains 10 seconds of music, one from each of these four works; Magic Flute by Mozart, the Canon by Pachelbel, the Hungarian Dances by Brahms and the Four Seasons by Vivaldi. Pressing one of the pushers activates a disc to rotate and melody be played. The discs are displayed in an attractive arrangement on the face of the watch under well designed bridges. They are obviously the highlight of the watch, but are equally attractive as a design stat
Just read an article in a local paper about the Stephen Palmer timepiece going up for auction. It is a PP Grand Complication # 97912, and will be auctioned at Christies on June 11 at the sale of "Important watches". Our town is named after him. Even though my watch is a "generic" Patek, I am surprised that two of these watches were in the same small town. The article states that only 10 such watches were produced. I have no idea if that is correct or not.Expected value>$1.2M-$1.8M.
I'm about the pull the trigger on the 15400, but wanted to get a second opinion on how it fits. I mostly wear a Sub-C daily which is about the same size and fits me well. Here are three photos. One of my sub-c and two of 15400.https://imgur/a/PBokZ
Howdy! My blue pelagos is my one and only. However I am nato crazy....Does army green look bad on this? Should I flip the blue pelagos and go black instead? How about black bay steel instead?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
