Hublot 710.CI.0123.NR.MZA10 wrist watches news:
Brazilian Artist Romero Britto has popularity in many art circles because his work combines styles cherished by many. Though he has his own distinct look, it is all heavily influenced by Picasso cubism, Roy Lichtenstein pop art, Japanese pop art, and a "world" urban happy feel. I'd say that most of his art tends to bring a smile at the least, and positive elation at best.In a bold and unexpected move, TechnoMarine has released the Cruise Britto collection featuring four watches, each with a different Romero Britto image on each. As far as I know, this is a first for TechnoMarine, but it makes sense. Focus on the female market in the last few years has been fruitful as TechnoMarine is a solid go-to watch when you want a watch that combines function, sport, and distinct feminine styling for those who aren't sold on always wearing a formal watch. TechnoMarine was one of the first to present the world with the rubber watch with diamonds. At one point this seemed an odd combination, and for
G'day all, I have been debating whether to join the vintage club around here for some time. I've been on the look out for a nice 1680 white Sub.I found one here locally and would just like to run it past you guys to see what you think.1680 Sub - white writing on dial.Made in 1979In excellent nick.Case is nearly untouched with no dints etc.Bracelet is unstretched and pretty clean.Previous owner had the dial replaced 8 yrs ago. It says tritium on the dial but in fact it is luminova. Markers are nice and white & crisp.Hands have also been replaced with luminova hands.Crystal was also replaced but it is of the slightly beveled variety - not the square edge type.No box or paperwork etc etc.All in all a very nice watch.Asking price is a firm $7350usdFrom what I can gather it would be a decent deal if it had the original hands and dial along with a box and papers.Interested to hear all your thoughts on this one and the 1680 in general.
After looking through some auctions which ended during the last two weeks I stumbled upon two Wesleys. One had an 987M and the other the 22 jewel 770 movement. Was the Wesley reissued in the 1950s with the 770?http://cgi.ebay.de/HAMILTON-WESLEY-1...QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.de/Mens-14K-Gold-Ham...QQcmdZViewItem
I don't know if this topic has come up in the past, but how about posting some watch-themed art? Here's my contribution...
