Hublot 301.SX.130.RX.174 wrist watches news:
To many watch aficionados, Tudor emerged from the considerable shadow of its big brother Rolex in 2013, when its vintage-inspired divers’ watch, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay, won the “Revival” prize at the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Gen¨¨ve. That model, with its black dial and burgundy bezel, begat another version in 2014, with a bezel in dark blue (nicknamed by fans “Midnight Blue”). Now the brand has announced a third variation, in which both the dial and bezel are black. The Tudor Heritage Black Bay “Black” takes its design cues from the unique piece that the brand created for the 2015 Only Watch auction, which in turn was influenced (like all the Black Bay models, but this one by far the most heavily) by a historical Tudor watch beloved by collectors, the Tudor Submariner, Ref. 7922. Hello!!Let¡äs post some wrist shots of our OMEGAs!!! Here I go:Best regards,Rafael
I have never been really taken much notice of Rolex but I have found myself being more and more attracted to them over the last year or so. Today I decided to visit my local AD and try a few. Excitedly I tried a selection of Datejust, Yacht-Master, Milgauss and a Submariner with both Jubilee and Oyster bracelet. Amazingly I found that both styles of bracelet were uncomfortable even after the necessary adjustments were made. I also thought that the actual finish on the bracelets was at best only average and a million miles away from the quality of the bracelets on my Franck Muller and my Zenith El Primero which are in exactly the same price bracket as the Datejust and Submariner. Obviously bracelet comfort is very much a personal thing and I realise that Rolex has an extremely loyal following on the forum. This is not to "have a go" at Rolex but really to express my surprise and disappointment at not being able to post my first "Incoming".
After lurking in this part of the forum for a while I decided to get a Speedy Pro as soon as possible. The heritage of this model makes it a must for any enthusiast and after securing a deal on the second hand market and waiting 5 weeks for a polish and replacement crystal here it is Couldn't be happier, I think this completes my collection (16610LV, 16660, Breitling Crosswind Racing) and I doubt I'll be making any more purchases (for a while at least)!
How do people handle insurance coverage on their 116500 Daytona's. Since this is a watch that is not easily replaced at MSRP, do you insure at replacement value. My AD was willing to appraise at replacement value, but the annual premium is twice as much if I go that route.
