Invicta 6662 wrist watches news:
Column-wheel chronographs are those found in many of the best chronograph movements.Set in a steel case, the Ref. L2.733.4.72.2 Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph is extremely classic in its execution and design. The case is 39mm wide in steel, with a brown alligator strap. The exclusive movement inside of the watch is the mechanical caliber L688.2 which provides the tricompax chrono subdial layout. The dial design is extremely classic.
Hi Dell, so this is my first post, i have recently (ie today) come into the possession of a Rolex Precision which was presented to the husband of a friend of my Grandmother's on his retirement from the Nestle Company London in December of 1961 after 40 years of employment there.I know this, as it is inscribed on the back!Below is a picture...(assuming this works!)i dont know when this model was being made, as i know very little about watches, but its inspired me to know! If anyone can fill me in about anything then please do!!
Can anyone post their personal opinion ( or something that they've perceived so far) for THE iconic watch for each brand of watches...I will start somethng like these ( the easier one) : Breitling : the Navitimer 23322 Omega : Rolex : standard stainless steel Date just flutted bezel Tag Heuer : Rado : Seiko : Citizen : ..etcetcetc,,,,,, (please add more)It could be very interesting to know each member's opinion on these ..rgdsPete J
My new AP, appreciate very mainstream and hardly the top end of the AP world, but it is my first and I really like it, glad I was not talked out of it by talk of it being too big on a wrist, my 7.5in and the 15400 look like they were made for each other. Many thanks to Mitch at the Hourglass in Sydney, a great deal, great service and a man who respects TRF big time.FYI Just as special as the AP is the journey from my home in Balmain by Ferry to the city to pick up the watch, a great day all round, my wife is now wearing my Daytona which was re-sized for her by Mitch as well. Sunny Sydney day, for those that have never visited our amazing city hopefully this is the enabler photos to get you to come (30c / 85f and such blue skies), apparently our architecture is quite well known as well.OK so the downside is we do have the occasional mosquito which has impacted the wrist shot a little!!!
Yesterday I found a 14K mechanical wind Omega that I have had since about 1972. It was a gift to me from my Grandmother when she returned from a trip to Europe and Switzerland...it will need a major overhaul and some new parts so any information on who to send it to to do the work would be appreciated. Of course I want original pieces as the the crown is broken and will need to be replaced and then the watch thoroughly checked over. I will post some pictures later today but I am excited about the 'Find' as this is the second wrist watch I have found this year!!!Take it easy......Leo
