One can always expect beautiful artistic watch creations from Van Cleef & Arpels each year at SIHH. Not that any of the watches are affordable to the lay person. For examples these models are all in platinum. They are highly primed for visual appreciation. Of the 2010's new collections from Van Cleef & Arpels is the Midnight Extraordinary Series. I don't know exactly how models there are. but here are three from the main California Landscapes collection, and two below from the Midnight Extraordinary Japanese Lacquer series.I am most interested in the California Landscapes series, likely because I live in California. It is true that not all the scenes are at night (in contrast tot he "midnight" part of the name), but each are interesting feats of talent. It can be from any era. Our pal Gee Jaay will probably select an oldie which he says is a goldie Most folk I suspect may opt for the comfortable Bond 9 link bracelet though I could be wrong.I like the curved ends of the modern bracelets. They have a fresh and ergonomic appearance. Personally the one I have been most contented to wear has been the brushed steel bracelet of the AT with the hidden clasp. Back from APSC New-York
Hi everyoneJust wanted to share my experience with APSC New-York. 15300 was sent in for the B1 test and additional 1 year warranty. Lucky to find a letter explaining that they replaced the crystal as it didn't met their inspection. I noticed before sending it some micro chips on the side between 6 an 7 position but was only visible through a loupe. It was on the angle of the crystal and far from something to be worried about. Now After loupe inspection, it is 100% perfect Happy to report it was back in 5 weeks. More than I expected to say the least.Came back all wrapped with plastics on the case as if it was new. All in all, a perfect experience.Cheers.
