Daniel Dreifuss of Maurice de Mauriac in Zurich is as wild about straps as he is watches. Sometimes maybe even MORE excited. The boutique brand's founder is perpetually in search of exciting new straps, strap makers, and materials. This is a labor of love that has him looking for the finest ways to attach his watches to your wrist.I sat with Daniel recently to check out some of his 2012 creations and styles. AP ROO diver v Pam 233
Hi, I've been considering getting an AP ROO diver recently and wondered how it compares to a Pam 233 in terms of size and comfort. I own a 233 and it's probably the biggest my wrist could take. I also own a 15300ST which feels great on my wrist, is the lug to lug distance on the diver model much bigger? For reference my wrists are probably just under 6.5 inches.ThanksMike

Hi all,Thought I'd share my thoughts on my 14060 after being a PO owner for a number of years.Now I realise this particular subject has been done to death but I'll keep things short and also keep things focussed on as many objective factors as I can. Hopefully this can help with anyone looking to buy either the PO or the 14060.The two watches in question are an X serial 14060 and a black on black 42mm Planet Ocean.First and foremost, both are lovely watches and very, very different. I know there's been a lot said about Omegas being derivatives of Rolex and indistinguishable when viewed by a layperson, but they both have a significantly different look and feel on the wrist.For me, aside from the brand difference, movement etc. the following are the major differences:The DesignThe Planet Ocean is clearly the more contemporary and uncommon design. Need advice on Explorer II 16570 (1998)
Hi,I came across 1998 issue of the Explorer ii. I dont have any Rolex yet and was considering Explorer 1 214270. However, this pre-owned piece is in good condition, is sold by an AD, was serviced by them and AD gives additional 2 yrs warranty. The case has normal wear, some of the numbers on the bezel are losing paint and bracelet is missing extra links so I have to buy them or put on nato/leather. I should also mention that box and papers are included. Please share your opinion regarding buying 20yr old Rolex vs new or under 5 year old. The price is competitive, so not sure if there are any gotchas I don't know about or AD wants to get it out. This watch was at the store for at least 6 months now. If you can share price that you believe this should be at, it would help as well. I already checked eBay and chrono24Thank you
