Hi all,My name is Joao, I'm from Portugal and this is my first time writing here at the forum. Can someone help me identifying the watch that I received from my grandfather? Thanks and regards,Joao20110708_80b.jpg20110708_78b.jpg20110708_81b.jpg
Greetings to HD Today is a good day for the Russell. Fog, grey, cold, so I need something with more colors to show me the time until I can go home. I only changed the strap on it, since the black one was a bit too long for my small wrists. It fits better to one of the watches where the lugs aren't that far from each other.
I am seriously considering purchasing a RO chrono with the Cal. 2385 movement. I realize this is an F. Piguet Cal. 1185 base movement tweaked by AP and that this movement is also used in other watches, like the VC Overseas chrono.Any thoughts or opinions on the 2385? Reliability, accuracy, etc. Does it matter that this is not an AP movement inside a storied AP model?I appreciate your comments.Thanks.Cheers,-Marc
Next week I'm going to get a nautilus and I'd like to ask how do you guys clean your Patek. Which cloth do you use to avoid hairline on polished parts?
Those who were wanting a redesigned case, updated movement, new dial/bezel colors what say you know?
