Hamilton Pulsomatic Watch For 2010
I think that this will be a pretty well-received watch for 2010, and that a lot of people are going to dig this. Another of the many many "historical rereleases" we have been seeing lately. So, a long time ago Hamilton released the Pulsar. It was the first digital watch. This was in 1970, just a year after Seiko introduced the first quartz watch (that was analog). The Hamilton Pulsar was not an LCD (liquid crystal display) watch, but rather had a red colored LED (light emitting diode). With an LED, power consumption is a bit issue although it is bright when viewable. As such, you needed to manually press a button on the case to display the time on the Pulsar - as it would have drained the battery too quickly otherwise. Despite this, it was an accurate movement and really popular at the time. Pulsar then sort of branched out into a subbrand (which is actually part of Seiko now I think), and you could get similar watches up until almost now. By the way, the first 6 digit LCD watch was re

Hey guys!I'm new to this forum. So here's my story...and some concern...I bought a watch at a non-Rolex dealer the other day. The company has been in town since 1978...they had a lot of Rolexes and seem like a respectable place. I purchased an Explorer II with the Oyster band. The timepiece portion of the watch is from the late 90s' and according to a serial on the bracelet, the bracelet is from 2005. When I purchased it, they had no box or papers, but appraised it and gave me a 1-year full warranty which said "100% Genuine Rolex"...along with some other wording. I'm mainly concerned because of no sticker on the back. The movement seems to sweep like a real one is supposed to (but I've seen fakes do similar). If you look really close, the sweeping is almost like a really fast ticking. If i listen to it VERY quietly and closely, I can hear it ticking very fast. I have to wind the watch, which I heard is a real Rolex feature. An additional note, I synchronized it with the atomic clock th

Help Identifying/finding a Citizen
So a friend posted this watch in another communities 'what's on your wrist' thread and I can not seem to find it anywhere, much less identify it. I really like the watch though and would love to find one so any help from you lot is appreciated. Here is a picture, obviously this is not the stock strap (I have permission from Alex to use this pic)He says that this is printed on the back:H500-S062519I can see it is an Eco-Drive Chronograph and can find similar watches on Amazon but not the same, any help is appreciated!
