- This watch is ger than I expected and the diamonds look dirty. I had bought this as a gift for my daughter, but she didn't like it either. Not recommended.

- Black is my favorite color! This Baby Phat watch is nice with almost anything.. The bling in the face of the watch with the logo is eyecatching. The band wears easily, be careful taking on and off.

Montblanc 110715 wrist watches news:
The goal with HODINKEE was always bringing you guys into a world that is, at times, seemingly surrounded by a cement wall of European conservatism and secrecy. Whether it's sitting down for a beer with an NBA all-star or silicon valley visionary, witnessing how one of today's modern masters make his masterpiece , or an in-depth, hands-on with the man who designed the most complicated wristwatch in Patek Philippe's history, I feel pretty good about saying we're doing our job. Still, one story in this category rises above them all to take you someplace where few have ever or will ever have access – inside Rolex. It was this weekend one year ago where I published the 10,000 word story that takes you, the HODINKEE reader, inside incredible, clandestine world of the most important watch brand in the world. 1 OF 1 HODINKEE is one of a small handful of outlets ever invide its Bienne facility, where movements are produced. Call me a troll, but I'm seething mad, hence this rant.Bought my Chronomat Evolution about 18 months ago. Out of the box, it ran +24secs/day. (hardly the +6/-4 Chronometer certification it purports to have) I accepted excuses from other owners, that possibly it took a hit or a jar in transit, or was magnetized, or something of that nature. I gave Breitling a bit of slack for that.I then took it to my AD to have it regulated. I ended up with +9secs/day over the next 16 months, then it crapped out on me completely, and became a "hand-wound caliber." I could wind it by hand, but other than that, it wouldn't run.I sent it to Breitling. It cost me $75.00 to insure it for purchase value alone. (not including shipping)They kept it for 2 months, and I received it back today. So far, its gaining MORE than a second per hour. Its' gained 7 seconds in the last 6 hours, and that's after I re-set it once, thinking maybe I erred. As for those who will mock me as being unreasonable for demanding that m
Long time lurker, first time poster.I've grown more and more interested in a Breitling, and with the closing of several Bailey Banks & Biddle stores in the US, I feel now might be my best opportunity for a while to get a new Breitling from an AD at a terrific price. The current markdown is 30%, which is not great by discount standards, but I believe its quite good by Breitling discount standards. I don't know which models remain in stock at my local store, but I'm hoping some of the entry-level models are still available. As I'm waiting for the next markdown (40%, which could happen before Aug1) I'm curious what advice the members of this forum have for me with regards to purchasing a new Breitling, whether it be model advice or if this is even that great of an opportunity.

I've been reading this forum for a while now and I'm finally excited to post now as a new 5167A owner. I just picked this up on order from my local AD. It came in fresh from Patek. As an introduction, I bought my first watch this year an IWC 3714 Portuguese. I thought that would be my first foray into watches and my last purchase for a while. But the bug has really hit me after reading these forums. I was in the hunt for a waterproof watch as I travel quite often. In April I stopped by an IWC boutique in LA and came across the Charles Darwin AT in bronze. I quickly called my AD and sourced one before my next trip. After 2 watches in 3 months I established a relationship with one of the reps at my AD. I asked her about a Lange I read about on Hodinkee that looked interesting. I came in to look at it and determined it wasn't my style. A few weeks later she texted me a picture of a 5167 that came in randomly. I fell in love immediately. I went in the next day to take a look but the piece
