Omega 00065 wrist watches news:
Good day all fellow Hamilton enthusiasts. I am recently a new Hamilton King Scuba watch owner. I have always been interested in watches and have always wanted to start collecting. I am so happy with my new Hamilton that I went out and purchased my wife one as well. One quick question here - I have been tracking the accuracy and it is at 10 seconds fast per 24 hours. Reading some of the threads this seems to be at the limit of acceptable accuracy. Knowing that I have sacraficed some accuaracy with an automatic movement should I bring this to the attention of my watchmaker?
hey everyone,Ok, looking for a leather strap and having a hard time. If you have ideas that fit the below criteria, then Sponsors - tell me what you got! Members, show me what you got!Need a 24 / 22mm.Brown in color, something like a cognac (less red, more brown), "Havana", that type of brown.LONG. Need to have at least 200mm's total. 80/120 or 125 would be idea.Relatively thick. The watch is 45mm wide at 2-8 and 18mm thick. I'm thinking 4-5mm at lugs probably.I'm normally not a fan of 'standard' leather. A vintage leather or bomber style is probably what I'm looking for. Distressed would be OK too, but not looking like it's falling apart. The "aged" look isn't something I really care for A large gator print would also be a good strap (love gator looks).Stitching, matching or white / off white is fine either way.Glossy straps need not apply regardless of other criteria!! Sorry, just a personal preference. I don't like glossy. Matte is preferred, a slight semi-gloss will be cons
This Sea Glo just sold on the swamp for what I thought was a ridiculous amount for a stainless steel model with a Swiss movement.Mens HAMILTON "SEA GLO" - 1958 - eBay (item 260815331461 end time Jul-17-11 18:30:05 PDT)Is this watch extremely rare, or is this just a case of two people who really wanted this watch?I have a Sea Glo in my future project drawer (which I probably got for around $35) which needs an overhaul and a dial refinish. Do I have a hidden treasure?Has anyone sent this type of dial to ID? I assume that they can handle the three dimensional dials, but I have never had one like this refinished.
Quick question for those that know. Is the main difference between a regular rubber strap and a short strap the length or is the angle on where it connects to watch different as well?Edwin
I damaged my bezel on my PO and replaced with one that I did not know was not OEM so now my PO looks fake so I ordered a OEM one. I would like not to send my watch back in to be repaired if I could do it myself.
