- Loved the watch. Looks even better in person than in the picture. Dial is petite, but easy to read. Gold accents really make this watch a standout.

I took my GMT C to RSC to get the watch polished and regulatedso for the next two weeks I'll be wearin my favorite flying watch...
Hi All,Just thought I'd introduce myself here in this forum. I've never really been a true "WIS" up until about a month ago when I finally decided to "upgrade" a Tag I had received as a present from my mom years ago. It actually never even occurred to me to do so until I was in Vegas last July and saw some U-Boats on display at the Venetian. I fell in love. Not knowing much about them, I was obviously taken by surprise when I saw the price tag. I stopped off at Tourneau in Caesars' Palace and was amazed at all the different makes and models, and saw something similar to the U-Boat in the Russian Divers Invicta made with a much more reasonable price. I didn't buy (because I like to research the heck out of everything I consider) and the pursuit sorta faded. Until last month. Something sparked the need again for a new watch and the search began anew. Within a month's time, I got an Invicta SAIII 3-hand GMT auto, the Russian Diver Chrono (of course ), a Swiss Legend Ambassador, a
I just bought a Lucerne jumping hours manual watch, supposedly from the 1970's. I bought this recently, supposedly never worn, but it hasn't been working correctly- it's been stopping dead repeatedly after only a few hours. I'm wondering if I damaged it by turning the dial the wrong way when setting the time or when winding it. I'm also wondering if I damaged it by overwinding it (fyi, currently it feels tight in the clockwise direction, as if it won't go any further in that direction if I kept trying to wind it).How easy is it to break a watch like this by overwinding or by changing the time in the wrong direction? Does anyone know which is the correct direction I should turn the dial when setting the time or winding it? If I did indeed damage it to some extent, is there any way I can undo the damage myself- some kind of trick for "unwinding" it or some such? Thanks.
I just Picked up my vintage Omega Memomatic from my watchmaker after a movement service, case refinish (by ABC Watchwerks of course), and new factory Crystal and alarm crown replacement. The dial and hands are all original and I must say it looks absolutely showcase new again...a very rare and under appreciated vintage Omega reference with an alarm feature that uses the same power source as the movement and can be set to the minute...both very innovative for their time when introduced in 1969.Here is a wrist shot...
i have offered my PAM00421 for sale in a very respected high end used watch shop in vienna, at a very reasonable price - simply because i want to concentrate on patek and rolex (no sales pitch here though!!!!!). strangely enough it did not sell yet after three months and the owner of the shop tells me that almost nobody even takes a look at it. i am wondering what is wrong with the model (the watch itself is in perfect state)? is it indicative for the panerai second hand market or just that the gold models are not liked by paneristi? most likely i will take it back again and keep wearing it once in a while, i like the watch....ps: i should add that i bought a patek 5712R which kind of ticks similar boxes to the PAM00241, namely rose gold case on croc strap, brown dial......
