- This is a beautiful watch but it's bably only worth $55,000 instead of the [$] it is advertised. I guess I'll just have to buy a Ferrari this year instead of a Lamborghini!

Hublot 341.px.130.px wrist watches news:
Despite the latest?technical breakthroughs in forging new materials, creating new in-house movement designs, or manufacturing rugged watches for "ingenieurs," the general appeal?of simple and refined dress watches is something no?luxury brand can ignore. In recent years, IWC has been busy?restyling its Portuguese Chronograph (review here) and Aquatimer (debut article here)?collections, and now, it appears, the time has come to offer something "pure and classical."?So pure and classical, that IWC decided to add these phrases to the name of its new-for-2015 dress watch: the IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Pure Classic (reference IW511101 in red gold and IW511102 in steel). The dress watch is not dead: among fierce competition between luxury brands to create the latest, greatest, most complicated and most resistant (to whatever impact the wearer himself/herself could never possibly?survive), there actually?still is a massive market?for restrained and classical looking timepieces.?Clearly, the IWC
Whisky is a big deal in China these days, and apparently the most popular spirit brand in the world is Johnnie Walker. So, with that said, it should come as little surprise that Hublot has created a limited edition set of Big Bang Aero watches in partnership with Johnnie Walker brand whiskies. More specifically, Hublot has produced this timepiece in collaboration with the new "Johnnie Walker House" in Beijing, China. What is a Johnnie Walker House? There are three locations so far outside of Scotland; the idea behind it is to be a bar-style space that is an "ambassador of whisky culture."Where are the current Johnnie Walker House locations? Two are in China located in Shanghai and in Beijing, and there is one located in Seoul, South Korea. I suppose it pays to be a Scotch Whisky lover in Asia these days. These lifestyle places to enjoy one's favorite spirits are high-class destinations for business people and those looking to become "cultured," because places like the Johnnie Walker Ho
Well, make that watch trading. A perfect morning as a matter of fact. The BP Villeret is on the way out. Buckle up for safety! It's a 45 minute drive to where I'm going.Yes, I am watchless to start the trip. After relatively light traffic and a very pleasant transaction, that situation is rectified with my new IWC Portofino. This is the watch I should have bought in 2008 instead of the Omega Aqua Terra. The M-G Mercurius and the IWC Spitfire Mark XV were also failed (but fun) attempts to get a different watch than this. While all were very nice, none of them were exactly like this dark blue Portofino. .but it gets better!!! I also walked out of the dealer with a nice fat check. So I get in the car and there's a voice mail - from the guy selling the 1946 Omega Centenary reference 2500 caliber 30.10! Get this - he makes a counter offer, we agree to a price, and it turns out he only lives a few miles from the dealer I just walked out of. A quick stop at the bank to cash the che
All,Just looking for opinions and advice please.Bought a new First Omega In Space (FOIS) Speedmaster brand new via mail order from a reputable small chain of UK Jewellers. The watch arrived yesterday, perfectly packaged and all looked fine until I put the watch on and I can clearly see the difference in colour between the 2 leather sides of the strap. Also, both sides are darker brown near the buckle end. It really does look like the watch has been in a shop window for some significant period of time and the strap has faded in the sunlight. I have attached photos but the iphone camera doesn't seem to have picked up the difference well - in reality it is much worse.I have contacted the jeweller last night via a polite email and await their response about to doThe number of the watch is low 1,000's which could suggest the watch has sat around at the dealers for some time (recent Omega Forum posts suggest 4k + numbers are in the wild).I am thinking that the dealer should replace the str
I¡¯ve been looking into getting a 16710 z or m serial with a 3186 movement either coke or pepsi insert. What do the vintage masters think about this watch as good collecting piece? Do you think price will stay strong? Been seeing them listed for at least $14k. Seems high?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
