Mixing hobbies....
I was at a beer festival this weekend and litterally stumbled into my next time piece. It(at the time)seems to seemlessly join two of my favorite hobbies. BEER and Watches.You'll have to excuse the photos.......I was at a beer fest. and these were taken from my phone. Yes, that flip-up face over the dial is a bottle opener.I may have one on order by the end of the week. Of course your not buying this for the movment. It would be cool to see what could be done with this besides it's main purpose. the fact that it tells time is just a bonus.Would this be an Homage to a bottle opener?

Greetings!When looking for watch prices i occasionally stumble on offerings fromthese brands, recently i went to an AD and had the chance to handle a Montblanc chrono which was very nice indeed, when i asked for the price i realized that it was more expensive than a comparable Omega Speedmaster which is a chronometer (and is an Omega).Most or many of the model offerings from these companies are very pricey, but my question is: are they comparable to say Breitlings or Omegas?.Most of these watches aren��t even chronometers.I see a reason to spend big bucks on a chronometer, but big bucks for a non-chronometer watch???.Is it all "fit and finish" ??What am i missing?cheers!MM
