? For fans of the TT 16613 blue dial Submariner
Many fans (like myself) have been anxiously awaiting the replacement for the 16613 - the new 116613 Submariner. Unfortunately, Rolex has opted to not use the exact same dial found in the 16613 - it seems to lack the iridescent quality of the classic blue dial. The thing I was looking most forward to was the possiblity of getting a solid link bracelet. So my question is, will the 116613 bracelet fit the 16613? My GUESS is that if a GMT Master IIc bracelet (SS or TT) fits a Submariner (16610 or 16613) case, then it will work. Of course, the follow up question is, if you own a 16613, would you spend the dough for a new bracelet? I'm guessing it would cost right around 5k....which would buy you a pre-loved 16613.

Just in today from New York a really neat 6309-7040.Been after one of these for a while now and with the help and honesty of Jim (Poseidon-Jim) I finally got my hands on one. These are an awesome watch and really make you wonder why Seiko changed the case design, the 6309 cushion case is so comfortable on the wrist. Jim released this one to me from his own collection and I can't thank him enough for his help and guidance and allowing me to add this fine watch to my little collection.Thanks buddy

Air Blue pilot watches
I received my new #3 Alpha B Auto SS 41mm, and #15 Delta Auto PVD yesterday, up here in Alaska. Upon opening my package, I first saw the Air Blue cardboard box. One had a smashed corner, and my package looked like it got tossed into the bottom of a USPS shipping container. The first box opened contained the Delta Auto. Unharmed and running. I like the strap material used. It's a nice mix of materials. Then I opened the Alpha B. Like the delta, unharmed and running. I have to admit that I dislike the strap on the Alpha B, but that is a minor personal preference. I'll have to watch the Air Blue site for bracelet options.I do not have any way to post a respectable picture. Information is on the kick start site and on the Air Blue site.Altogether I am happy with the presentation and final product I received. The keychain is a nice added touch and the build quality is what I would expect to see from Stan (Deep Blue).

Need info about my patek
I am new to this site and am hoping to find help with a Patek Philippe 2526 I have which has been in my safety deposit box for years. It is a GUBELIN model in 18kt gold with a solid 18kt gold bracelet band. Years ago I had it authenticated and when inspected the jeweler showed me the gold ingot on a track which rotates to automatically wind the watch. I am now getting on in my years and am considering selling it but am by far no expert or collector just have a few watches I put away years ago. I also have a rolex submariner 18kt gold with a 18 kt gold diver band which I will be asking for help on the rolex thread.All info would be gratefully appreciated and I will attempt to upload pictures if I am allowed due to my being new to this blog.Thanks to all.Larry (bullstone) Stone
