Hublot 511.CP.1780.RX wrist watches news:
Hmm, anyone know if other RSC's would swap a dial on a YGDD. Just called RSC NY and they told me that the meteorite dial is only available at time of purchase. I am aware that "some" RSC's in other countries operate differently than US ones and I'm curious if anyone knows or think I could get it done. Thanks,Mike
Hi AllJust wanting to clear something up about the parachrom bleu hairspring and the Daytona. From reading JBH's article on the subject just wondering a Daytona with a Z serial starting with 9 and also having the ROLEXROLEXROLEX engraving should have the Blue hairspring?Am i right in assuming this?Cheers
"Change is the only constant in this world." This edict has been the compelling reason why I chose to own two of the most unique and technologically advance timepieces in the market today -the IWC Topgun Ceramic Doppel Chrono and the Rolex Sea Dweller Deep Sea. Both are, beyond doubt, very distinct from the normal melieu found in their respective dens.I just got my SDDS tonight from my AD in Manila. The funny thing is, despite its purported huge size, I thought it was dwarfed by my IWC when I first saw it and tried it on my wrist. But of course my Topgun is 46mm compared to the 43mm Deep Sea. Other than its diameter, what I instantly noticed was the height of the bezel. It is indeed tall. The first time I saw it in my wrist, it kinda looked odd. I even thought it protruded too much. But after seeing its reflection in the mirror, I came to realize that its height gave it a sense of regality, if there is such a word. I always beleived that the mention of the name Rolex connotes some sort
So I finally sold my Explorer2, and the search has begun for a replacement. I was pretty sure i would be going for the 14060m with the bond style Nato, but that was until I saw this picture that Hary from Watchuseek took:Now I can`t get it out of my head I just love the Nato combo on this one, makes it look really vintageSo I`ve tried to read up on the posts that I could find on the Explorer and I came across a review by Walt Odets wich really put a downer on my new crush. Is the Explorer really this crude? The pictures of the movement was really not what I would expect from a Rolex watch. I`m not sure how old this review is, but has the movement been upgraded since?Hope someone can shed some light on thisOh, and I would love to see some pictures, specially on Nato-Ram
I'd like to get a stainless bracelet for my Black Monster. I'd prefer to get the "proper" one made by Seiko, but am not completely against others if they look right for the watch. So, any suggestions where to look or what non-factory brands to consider (and where to find them)?
