About this special series, Juan-Carlos Torres, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, said:¡°Driven by a desire to transcend the gift we had made to the auction, we simply asked ourselves how we could open up a new and more lasting channel of funding on behalf of the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy over which Luc Pettavino presides in such a charismatic manner. MY MEISTERTAUCHER IS HOME!!! - YouTubeYes, it was exciting enough to make a video. if you've ever recieved a new watch in the mail, or an old watch that was serviced on the mail, you know the feeling. anyway, Al from Archer Watches not only returned a perfectly-running watch, but he included a DVD with photographs of EVERY. SINGLE. THING he did to my watch. it's amazing to go through. i'll post some pix of it later - nothing like seeing the guts of something u've had on ur wrist for 10 years, right?i also got all the paperwork and receipts from the testing machines, which is cool, plus a pen and peanut brittle. i didn't think my day could get any better when my watch finally showed up, but Al really went above and beyond my expectations for a watch servicing.FEDEX.jpgunboxing 2.jpgunboxing 4.jpg
My father recently gave me his vintage automatic Rotary. Purchased in Salisbury, Rhodesia (ie Harare, Zimbabwe) in 1947 when he was posted there with the RAF.I can't post photos of it for a few weeks - so the purpose of this post was to see if there are any experts here at WTF that may be able to help me find out more about it. Alternatively if anyone could point me towards any useful online resources in the meantime I'd be grateful. PM me if you know of another forum that could be useful. Thanks
That contains this little great box. This one will be interested to take a closer look at.There was two huge books too.I come back with my impression when I looked through the material.
