Hublot 1710.410B.1 wrist watches news:
If there is one sub-sect of vintage watches that I believe is about to experience a renaissance of sorts, it's vintage Audemars Piguet. For years, I have admired the subtle elegance and incredible design found in early 20th century AP's. I believe them to be some of the most beautiful watches ever made, and based on our visit inside the vault of AP last summer, you guys agreed. There is simply so much to love in this category, and yet we simply don't hear much about it. Sure, there are way, way fewer vintage AP watches out there than any Patek, as we've mentioned, and that just makes them that much more appealing. This season, there are several fantastic vintage AP's coming up for sale, and because this manufacture is one of the few who has a publicly available historical expert, we thought it would be great to get brand historian Michael Friedman's own take on the vintage AP's coming up this weekend and next week in Geneva. That is what you'll find below
I could really use a few inside points on this decision. I have put both on and and become unexpectedly more indecisive. THey are both fine watches, so win win, but:The Chrono (Black), probably my favorite with looks. Amazing time piece with a trusted movement. The Seamaster Pro (Black) includes the new co-axial, which is a major decision point. It also has a look that might be better suited to more environments: office, sport, dinners, etc. So because it has come down to the fine details, I hope you all can chime in, perhaps with different perspectives that I may not be considering. All thoughts and opinions wanted. Additionally, and not to complicate, I have also thought of tossing both choices aside for a brand new old stock (AD) US Special Edition (Silver) where only 1k were made. These special editions do not seem to gain value from what I can tell, but marked at 2k (originally 4.5k) perhaps it is worthy of more serious consideration.
They show up occasionally, from the early 70's with an ETA 17 jewel movement and normally in two different hand configurations and in his and hers sizes.
Hi guys is there anywhere in HK that can do bracelet adjustments for the Nautilus? not talking about some dodgy street side jobby but like a proper patek place? I contacted the service centre Libertas? In HK but its all robotic responce and I couldnt ask this question...THank you for your help.
Hi everyone,Like most people, I fell absolutely head over hells in love with the new WG Daytona on Oysterfled 116519. However, I not only already owned a SS 116500LN but I also prefer having a bracelet most of the time.I then came across Chadridv¡¯s excellent post of his 116500LN with an Oysterflex he had sourced from his AD and I got really excited! I do have a good relationship with my AD but Chad¡¯s words had me doubtful: Quote:
