O.K., I may be reaching here, but I just bought some Swatch Irony Diaphne automatic watches. They all have aluminum accents (face and back rings) and one of them has an aluminum band (let me tell you, if you are not married to the idea that your watch should weigh a ton, it's very cool for it to weigh almost nothing).I am VERY careful with my watches. I don't abuse them, bump them into things, block doors with them, etc. However, even the most babied watch can get some scratches and dings, and nothing shows that better than aluminum.So, here's my logicSwatch crystals and cases are mostly acrylic polycarbonate.
