Breitling Steel wrist watches news:
What were you doing when you were 14 years old? I was in high school in California, playing lots of soccer and generally getting into trouble. Over in Switzerland, Rexhep Rexhepi was an apprentice at Patek Philippe working on tourbillons. Now he has started his own brand, AkriviA. While AkriviA is young, the brand has already drawn praise. A while back Kari Voutilainen was in NYC for a Q&A event. A question was asked along the lines of, "what young watchmakers are doing interesting things?" Kari's answer was "Rexhep Rexhepi." 1 OF 10 2 OF 10 A few weeks ago I received a press release about a new watch from AkriviA, the Tourbillon Hour Minute. While this watch is really impressive and interesting, the press release was not. Instead of trying to rehash the press release, I interviewed Rexhep Rexhepi over email. My goal was to learn a bit more about his background, and where the brand is going. We received some great workshop photography a
Oris is well known for its tie ins with motor sport, most noticeably the Williams F1 link, along with special series like the RAID and RUF LEs to name but two.Joining this lineup of Motorsport themed watches is the new Artix GT Chrono, an all black number with a distinctive tachymeter scale on the bezel. An unusual touch is the seconds counter - a horizontal redline at the 9 o'clock position, different and I think very cool. Here are some pics from Oris, and their official release notes:The watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement, with chronograph function and date. The two-piece dial, with a matt black dial ring and a Tachymeter scale, is directly assembled in the case with both minute and hour counters, along with applied indexes. An interesting addition is the Oris developed retrograde mechanism, which allows the small seconds to ‘grow’ like the RPM counter in a racing car. The striking multi-piece stainless steel case adds enduring refinement, which catches
I'm talking about the 311.30.44.50.01.002 and 311.30.44.50.01.001. .omegawatches/index.ph...002&no_cache=1 and .omegawatches/index.ph...001&no_cache=1 , respectively. I still haven't seen any and went to Jared's (yeah, I went there) and they looked at my like I was crazy. He said, he'd look into the 44.25mm Speedy. So, anyone? Bueler, Bueler, Bueler.... Thanks in advance.
Random thought of the day...Between the SS and the Rose Gold, do you think a WG 5167 would be successful (more so than either of the current models)? I think it's hard sometimes if a SS and WG are too similar (unless just slightly unique, like a WG Blue Sub).
Hi PAM championsSpotted a PAM 288 chrono in a shop and would like to find out more about this beautiful piece.. However it seems so rare and difficult to find the reviews and comments on this piece. Maybe anyone can share? Thanks mates!
