- I bought this watch for my mom and she liked it. It looks nice, quite light for an automatic watch. It gets 15~20 seconds behind everyday which is within the tolerance range for a self-wind watch.

High-horology companies Agenhor and APRP have come up with new complicated movements for Faberge?, of Imperial Egg fame. The Faberg¨¦ watches with these movements ¡ª two for ladies, one for men ¡ª were introduced at Baselworld 2015. Here’s what you need to know about them.Faberge?, best known for its Imperial Eggs and its luxe jewelry, has gone high horology, enlisting the help of some celebrated high-mech movement makers to do so. At Baselworld it unveiled a trio of new complicated pieces. Two of them were women¡¯s watches with fanciful retrograde displays, the work of Agenhor, the movement company owned by watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht. One watch, the Lady Complique?e Peacock, features a gold peacock that spreads its feathers gradually over the course of an hour, indicating the minutes on an arced scale. The hours are shown by a rotating ring: the current hour is at the 3 o¡¯clock position. When the hour has passed, the feathers snap back to their original position. The most unus
Hi,Has anyone seen a Seamaster like this one? It is a Cal. 552 movement. My guess it is from the late 50's. I have never seen one of this vintage with 1~12 on the outside bezel. A few of you know that I have a love for fixing old wind up clocks and giving them new life. The movements are much easier to see! The word is out that I will fix a clock that people cannot afford to fix...I just did one clock for a friends Mom...She was so happy....The clock was a wedding present and it stopped running the week her husband died. I returned it to her running and she literally cried. We proceeded to talk about clocks and watches and I mentioned Hamilton (of course). She ran into another room and came out with a Hamilton (1970's?)watch. She said she gave it to her husband but he hardly wore it because it was too large! She wanted me to have it because she had kept his favorite watch! My friend "twisted my arm" and verified his Dad never wore it! So here it is...#21 in my Hamilton collection!Rusty...if you would please...Check out the great Ren¨¦ Rondeau book to give me any info I could get on this..Hamilton Electric you are welcome to comment too (please).Several things
This is very early, but I'm about to put down a deposit on a blue 5711 :) it's going to be my first Patek! Very excited about this! The Nautilus has been on my radar for a long time , I haven't seen a 5711 on my wrist but tried on a few 5726s and it felt & looked good. Delivery isn't going to be for over 10 months according to the AD but I don't mind waiting. Big thanks to a member here for the info that lead to the find. The collection is becoming sport heavy so I might have to let go of one of the Rolexs ( the speedy will stay) Thanks again for all the enabling! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
