- I bought this watch for my Mom who struggles with fine motor skills. According to her, she can put the watch on easily and it is comfortable to wear throughout the day. The display seems to be easy to read as well.

OMEGA DE VILLE X-2 Co-AXIAL CHRONOGRAPHThe Handsome De Ville X2 Co-Axial Incorporates Chronograph Functions
After I got my first Hamilton I really was struck...Not just with a watch.but with a brand.....Not with just a brand.but a brand with a great history(at a price point I can play in)....Not with just a history(swiss watch of great value)..but an American history as well.I now have 24 hamiltons that include watches from all 4 generations. Here's my point, I have 30 watches of other brands and am considering a sell off (except for my Omega) and going 100% Hamilton.....Has anyone else considered or doing this with your own collection with any other Brands?
We wear exotic dialed watches. We wear diamond studded watches. We wear watches that are outrageously large. We wear brightly colored watches. We wear all sorts of "Hey look at me!!" watches. We wear bracelets and rings to compiment our watches. It seems to me that a majority of WIS love the compliments on their watch of choice and the attention that their "adornments" receive .(though I rarely, if ever, get "watch compliments") So why do most attention loving WIS feel that wearing a watch on each wrist is so odd??I have seen multiple rings and other adornments. At the GTG I attended last year many wore 2 watches and it looked perfectly normal (through the eyes of a WIS)I'm not talking Nick Hayek stuffBut what's wrong with being dedicated to the passion that we all have?I feel that wearing a watch on each wrist is less obvious than wearing a 50+ mm watch on one wrist.Either way, people are going to notice.
I like the idea, as recently achieved by Dennis with his '65 JLC, of a birth-year watch.I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a 1968 watch? Criteria are:40mm or biggerPreferably under $1000 USDNO cushion case.Dress, diver, or anything else.Other than that the floor is wide open. All I can think of off the top of my head is something like an Omega Speedmaster, except it's under 40mm (correct me if I'm wrong) and probably over $1000 (oh, and although I don't love it, I don't hate it either...)I'd really appreciate some help with suggestions if you can think of something.Thanks...
I am thinking of buying a Tudor Black Bay with red bezel. However I see there is one with rose logo and one with shield logo. Also one says Rotor self-winding the other got the same text as a Rolex. What is the difference on these two, and what one should I get? Like what are the pros and cons. Thanks for all answers.
