A. Lange & Sohne Grande Lange 1 Luminous Watch
It is the heat of the night, and you are having an expensive watch wearing worthy good time. You go to look are your luxury timepiece in the dim lighting on the patio of that bar you like, and low and behold those lustrous gold holds show no luster in the dark. Time to rethink your evening timepiece selection, or you could instead seek out the relatively few high-luxury watches with luminant applied to them. While not a big deal for a Seiko, a lume covered German A. Lange & Sohne is a rarity. Here is their newest one, called the Grande Lange 1 Luminous. Larger Grande Lange 1 case (as opposed to the smaller standard Lange 1). Black dial, and just the right shade of retro green for the richly applied lume that makes up the hour markers and is all over the hands. A cool sporty Lange watch. North to Alaska
We're departing early next week for Seattle, then to Victoria, B.C., for a day or two. Then we'll meet the big cruise ship in Seattle and our family for the rest of the trip up the inside passage into Alaska. So I'll be missing for about 12 days from WTF. But the Citizen will have its photo taken in various spots along the way and I'll be sure to post some upon our return. So a brief adieu while I finish all the preparations for the trip.

Grey Dealer or Orient QC?
I bought an authentic new Orient M-Force Air Diver through the Bay. A grey Dealer called " Duty Free Island" HK who have racked up over 20,000 sales with 99.7%. A great price at $235. The Orient rubber strap was attached upside down( buckle attached to bottom lug). Orient QC or "Island" perspiration shop hehehe?

Just started dipping into new Parerai's
I was looking at watches recently and became intrigued with the history and style of the Luminor line.I have purchased a 510 and 562 within the last month and must say, I LOVE THESE WATCHES!!The look , the feel, the accuracy...everything is so cool and nice.Just an observation, that 5000 8 hr movement is amazingly accurate this far. Both watches running at +/- 2 seconds per day, well within COSC standards.I have been a dedicated Zenith and Omega collector for many years and its sooo nice to not have to use a winder on these PAMs. Just wind once a week, and switch around to whatever.Anybody got an opinion as to what would be a good addition to my new family?I rely soley on reputable reselllers who sell only new, carry their own warranty and have been in biz for over 20-30 years so it cant be the latest lineup of Luminors.

Tourneau Pre-Owned
Anyone have any experience with Tourneau for a used Rolex? I recognize that they will likely be overpriced since they are an AD. Just curious if anybody knew what certified pre-owned actually meant from them. Does that mean they serviced the watch? Do they polish? Are their grades pretty accurate? Thanks in advance.
