It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and what better gift for your sweetheart than the perfect watch? We provide you a selection of the latest women¡¯s watches to help you with your shopping in this excerpt from WatchTime’s November-December 2015 issue.Cartier¡¯s Cle? (French for ¡°key¡±) collection has a new addition: this Cartier Cle? de Cartier model has a 31-mm rose-gold case set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch has a rose-gold bracelet and an automatic movement. Each model in the Cle? collection has a crown that resembles the end of a watch winding key. Price as shown: $34,600.The Chopard Happy Sport watch is now available with a smaller, 30-mm case. The Happy Sport 30mm Automatic has a silver-toned dial with a central spiral guilloche? pattern and five moving diamonds. It comes in steel, rose gold or steel and gold, on a leather strap or metal bracelet, polished or partially set with diamonds. There is also a version in rose or white gold, fully set with diamonds, wit
As expected, this is yet another model of watches "vintage" of a popular luxury Swiss brand of watches (this is a coincidence of French-owned). Zenith recently suffered a new direction, and it may be one of the first models to the stem of this change. There are great hopes for the brand which has been during the past few years, interesting, but incorruptible watches that have no soul or clear purpose. This new model is certainly a change, but I do not think that it is for the better.
This just arrived about a week ago, and having never owned a mechanical timepiece myself I thought it would be best to ask the "experts" before I pass judgement myself.A picture is worth a thousand words~(Sorry for the poor picture)I can never seem to get the day/date to set correctly. Perhaps I am just missing something, but it seems as though I'll set it right one day, then the next day it will spend half the day like this, only to finally change a day too late. Whats worse, the day dial also then obscures the more useful date dial.Again, perhaps I somehow set it wrong, but it seems to spend more time in transition than actually displaying.
Hi Guys,Does anyone know where I can source a Dunthorp "Rally Sport" strap into the UK?The Watch Prince seems to be the only one that supplies them and they won't ship to the UK!Any other suppliers that you can reccomend for them? Does anyone know their direct contact details so I can try to source one direct?I really want this strap and it's buggin the heck out of me that I can't get it:mad:
Hi,I started looking at the 231 recently as I feel it's competitively priced, however I've come to the conclusion that I prefer the Luminor range over the Radiomir range...I just had a quick search on Chrono24 and the price difference between the 231 (the cheapest gold Radiomir) and the 140 (the cheapest Luminor) and the Luminor is almost twice as expensive as the 231.How come? Is more gold used in making the 140? (I've never worn a Radiomir, so not sure on size difference IRL)//nejo
