New Lizard Strap On My 1940's Benrus, Check Out Some Pictues....
Just put a genuine lizard strap on my Benrus and ditched the old leather one. It just didn't do the watch justice. Check out the new and improved Benny!Also put a new strap on the tank.....I'm liking lizard straps.

Probably one of my last watches for awhile. They've become addictingPicked up an new Orient Constellation Automatic 60% off Orient's list price. It features:* a 40 hour power reserve, which is indicated on the dial.* an anti-reflective Sapphire crystal* Orient caliber 40P51 Japanese movement with 22 jewels* a fold over double push button clasp* 100 meters water resistant* the date at 3 o'clock* independent GMT handI usually like darker dials and rose/gold cases, but the polished stainless steel and white face looked really clean to me and caught my fancy.Nice metal box:Nice see through back.

Having an extra 5711/1r with trade idea
Hey gang,So in searching for my first Patek a 5711/1r (and buying it at a fair price) I have since found another that a dealer worked really hard to get me. Wanting to reward the dealer and build a relationship etc. I plan to buy it.Is it reasonable to think that I might be able to trade it for a 5990? Would that even be a good trade? Seems a new 5711 is worth 45-48. Is that about right?Thanks for helping a newbie out!Justin p.s., will be at Basel next Friday night if anyone wants to catch up....
