Breitling B1335812/C793 wrist watches news:
Congrats and a very Happy Birthday to our Co-Mod, Jim!!!!Thanks for all you do here at the American
Growing up I was always familiar with a lot of watch brands. I could never help myself when I walked passed a jewellers window full of watches, I would start at one side, usually the side that I could afford then walk the window till I got to the luxury brands. Then the internet comes along and its like where the hell have I been all these years, I had never heard nor seen a caps lock watch. By now most of you are probably wondering what the **** is he talking about, well its the watch companies and ads that are always typed out in capital letters as if to shout at you "BUY ME" names likeTECHNO COMBERNOULLI BEACONROUSSEAU SHROUDMILUS MEREAROUSSEAUANDRE GIROUDLOUIS BOLLEWOHLER JONASSTOLZENBERGJEAN MARCELPERIGAUMJOSHUA AND SONSTHEOREMAROMILLY STAURINO FRATELLIDUBOULEThe last one has a lovely ad on the bay with the words,FROM THE 2007 Duboule Collection The Gents Bristol Automatic Skeleton Blue Leather Strap/Blue Dial - $4495.00Now heres the best part,I can have this caps lock watch for
I know we are talking apples and oranges, but between the two if you had to choose, which would it be? I am not in the league to own both but one of them, yes. Which one? I do love both. I have time but I'm curious to hear the opinion of AP fans within TRF
Well, I ended up with two Railmasters (36.2mm and 39.2mm). I thought about keeping both, but after trading PMs with another TRF member with a smaller wrist, I decided to sell him my lovely 36.2mm Railmaster. Well, not wanting my little growing collection to shrink, I decided to take a hard look at Speedmasters. After holding both a black and white version in my hand at the local AD, I decided on the Speedmaster Date with black dial (3210.50). So, since I wanted a bigger discount than that offered by my local AD and also wanted to save sales tax, I called my out-of-state AD and one is now on its way. It'll be here tomorrow. I will post photos of it's arrival . . .
I've narrowed my first PAM down to a Radiomir 388 or 287. I really desire the date function so the main reason I'm only considering these two. I like the idea of non-in-house movement of the 287, but don't care for the cyclops and sausage dial. I prefer the sandwich dial with no-cyclops, but not as sold on the P.9000 movement. Both watches I'm considering are pre-owned and comparable in price. Personal ideas/opinions greatly appreciated...
