Overlooking Los Angeles at the historic Chateau Marmont Hotel, guests celebrated The World's Most Expensive Watches book launch in an event that I was honored to host in collaboration with party sponsor Hublot watches. I'd like to reiterate my words from the event, and say thank you to the many wonderful people who not only attended the launch, but who helped make the event a success.The World's Most Expensive Watches book first became available for sale in late September, and people have been buying it on Amazonwatches-dealer and local book stores in both English and French. Took macro photo of my new Bumble Bee with a Nikon D80 that just came back from servicing, a Nikkor 60mm & Tokina 100mm micro lens mounted on Manfrotto plus tower lightings from Lowel Ego.Edited on Apple iPhoto with dust removal using Retouch and some exposure & contrast correction.Enjoy!

5205 - Why no love for this ref?
Hi All, I'm new to this forum and very much a novice when it comes to PP. I have however watched the 5205g for a while and while I really like the design and how it wears (even if a little thick). For me, it's the perfect 'young mans' annual calendar, the design is clean and modern. However I want to understand why the secondary market prices are so soft.What in your opinions is driving this? Why no love for this ref (I say no love given the soft resale value)? Is the design top far from what the purists want? Are the production numbers too high? Is is that the retail prices are really just gone way too far?All opinions appreciated.J
