- A very nice looking watch, but quite uncomfortable to wear. The band tightens on the wrist and becomes painful within a few hours.

Chopard Chopard 8149 wrist watches news:
My wife bought me a new 49 from a AD on 12/3/07 i wanted to trade it in and i looked at the box and paper work for the first time since she bought and i notice the warrenty card was signed wetterau and dated 8/15/07. wetterau is not are name and she bought it on 12/3/07. was this used or did the panerai rep sign it, im confussed.
Just curious, saw a Louis Erard, which has a full calendar, advertised as having a perpetual calendar. It has the ETA 2824 with the DD 9000 complication bolted on.I spent about 40 minutes scouring the net and couldn't find any indication that the Dubois Depraz 9000 mechanism is perpetual. Louis Erard's site is pretty much an exercise in futility in terms of finding any detailed description of the mechanisms in their watches, but I would assume, if you offered a perpetual calendar you would scream it from the mountain tops.So anyway, just curious as a local jeweler has a couple of these as well. My guess is that the DD 9000 is akin to the ETA 7751 and just offers a complete calendar. If I'm mistaken, I'd like to read up on it with any links you can provide. Thanks,Bryan
HiCan anybody please tell me where are fossil watches are made? & how can I differentiate between an original fossil watch and a copy original one cuz I don't want to get fooled thanks in advance

Had to briefly relate my recent interaction with Rolexbrah(Jay) - he recently replied via PM to my post concerning a watch I've been hunting. He briefly outlined a AD had such watch & proceeded to advise contact details, etc. I contacted the AD and secured the watch over a few texts and phone call. Jay clearly could have kept this info. to himself but he provided the info. to a fellow member - I am very appreciative of his candor & insight. In my opinion, this is the quintessential reason to be a member of TRF - to share ideas with likeminded enthusiasts.I look forward to future interaction with Rolexbrah & his contribution to the forum!
