Ulysse Nardin 266-67-3/43 wrist watches news:
Somebody on Ebay has a listing for an Elgin Railroad Wrist Chronometer, but when you look at the watch, it's just a Plain Jain Elgin Deluxe from the 50s, which happens to be in a Railroad Chronometer box. AFAIK, the only 'Railroad Wrist Chronometer' that Elgin made was the BW Raymond. Originally these came with a 730A movment, then later the 780. Post 1964, I think, they also sold a BWR with a Swiss 21-jewel sweep seconds movement. Suffice to say the watch in the listing is none of these. This is one reason why I never base my watch identification on the labels on the box, UNLESS there's a tag which relates it directly to the watch. With Elgins, this would be the 4-digit case model number stamped inside the back.

Hi All, I have an Omega Aqua Terra Master 41.5mm, model: 231.10.42.21.03.003. I have it with the steel bracelet. I fell in love with the leather strap on it's brother, the 231.13.42.21.03.001 (blue strap), but it's about $1000 to get it from Omega w/ the clasp. I'm open to getting it third party, but I'm not sure how to look for aftermarket straps. What size do I ask for? Will any strap fit? Is there a special thing to ask for? Looking forward to hearing some insight! Thanks
