- With this battery back, I can run my watch winder anywhere… even locked up in a safe! It powers the winder for about a year, so I don't have to worry about constantly replacing the batteries. Very convenient!

Patek Philippe 5039-R wrist watches news:
Hello allI'm looking for some info on a watch I've recently come across. I believe it may be an Omega 30. It has a cal. 351 bumper action, s/n 11767500. I believe that dates it somewhere after 1947. The caseback has both 2584 and 2480-1 marked on it, as well as the usual omega stuff. I believe the dial has been re-touched, and the crown is a replacement, but all else seems original. It was not running when I got it, but after a cleaning and oiling its good as new. This is my second Omega- I also have my father's seamaster 300 diver from 1960-and I would like to learn more about dating them, etc. I'm a (very!) amateur watch tinkerer and would appreciate any help/info anyone has to offer. Thanks
hi i'm new to the world of panerai and was curious if my purchase is a legitimate panerai luminor or a copy. thanks for the help. i would take it to a dealer but the closest is about 3 hrs away but i do plan on taking it in just to be sure. sorry for the low quality pics any way here they are.
This is from 2002. Don't know if it ever got off the ground:The Skyaid Watch monitors the wearers pulse rate and will automatically radio a request for emergency aid for sudden cardiac arrests. The only hope of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest (300,000 die annually in the US) is to have the heart defibrillated within 8 minutes. Currently 90% of the people with sudden cardiac arrests die, often because the defibrillation equipment arrives too late. For the 40% of sudden cardiac arrests for which there are no bystanders, the Skyaid Watch will be a true lifesaver. An automatic call will eliminate vital minutes that would be otherwise lost while bystanders call for emergency medical care. This call will be a true lifesaver in the case that there are no bystanders, which is the case for 40% of sudden cardiac arrests. The Skyaid Watch automatic call for help will also be of significant help for the 30% of all strokes which occur during asleep.Initially, these requests will be responded to b
I love this watch but I can't help but think that the inner bezel should have been used to list the hours for a 24 hour clock instead of having the same numbers on both bezels so I mocked this up in Photoshop because I wanted to see if I'm the only one who thinks that would have been a better design choice.
When I went to service my SS and gold datejust from 1981, I was floored. If I did the work and replaced the necessary parts, the cost was much more than I paid for the watch new. Not surprised. But I do want to replace the bracelet (62523, 20mm) which is stretched. Any suggestions where I might find one at a reasonable price. Also, I assume the old bracelet has some value--the gold in it and the Rolex clasp. Any ideas what this may be worth on a trade in?ThanksJeff
