- This was a fantastic deal, the watch is just too large for my taste. The dial is also hard to see at night, but might be just because I am used to indiglo. Wish I had someone to give this to as a gift, but sending it back.

Bedat & Co B728.610.109 wrist watches news:
Hi,So my mom has a pretty old Omega Geneve (pics below), which is in need of some TLC. Movement still works perfectly afaik, despite having never been serviced (!!). But the strap is in pretty bad shape, and there are various scuffs etc. all over the casing.Omega Biel (via the London Boutique) have quoted the following:
Earlier this week I posted a thread on the General Discussion Forum about one of my grails had saved me thousands of dollars. I've had two grails for some time, one of which I already owned, my GMT IIc. The other one has always been a white SS Daytona. Resisting buying something on impulse meant I had a few bucks tucked away that weren't going for a watch I wouldn't wear as often as the GMT IIc. That was my "test." Would I wear the GO, GP, Zenith instead of my GMT? The answer was no, so I didn't pull the trigger on those. Instead I sold off a couple watches (maybe one more yet to go) and had money just in case. Well Saturday I was at my AD and asked, almost as a joke, if they had a SS Daytona in back. To my astonishment he said, "yes, a white one." Then he asked if I'd like to see it. I had never seen one before in the metal, so naturally I said sure. I tried it on and brother, resistance was futile. I knew there was no way I could walk out of the store without my grail of grails. Here
I decided to post some comparison shots of different Royal Oaks as many of you ask frequently how big one watch wears compared to others. Here we have my Royal Oak ref. 15300ST (39mm), the ROO ref. 25721ST (42mm) and the ROO Diver ref. 15703ST(42mm). Regardless of the bad angle of my quick shots, it is very clear that the ROO Diver wears quite larger than the classic ROO because of its flatter bezel and the proportions of the dial.Hope this helps for comparison purposes with so many of you adding APs to your collections.
Hello everybody,I¡¯m thinking to buy a Seamaster Planet Ocean with the orange leather Bracelet but don¡¯t know what size. I tried the Breitling Super Ocean Heritage who has a 46mm case and liked the size of the case! I would appreciate any input on rather to go with the 42mm case or the XL. Like I said before I liked the 46mm Breitling but never saw or tried the Omega XL (45mm) and since I probably will order the watch it would be nice to get your opinions especially how the sizes will feel at the wrist. If you could post pics of your Planet Ocean as well that would be awesome! Thanks a lot in advance
As I narrow down to my top two favorites, I think over the next few years I¡¯d like to buy a Platinum DD (36mm) and WG Daytona with the blue dial. It looks like an older Plt DD can be purchased for about the same price as the relatively new Daytona right now. So, outside of personal preference, is there a reason to chose one over the other right now, with the assumption that I¡¯ll buy the other one in a few years? For what its worth, I'll probably never feel comfortable paying full retail for a brand new platinum DD.
