Stiletto Magazine Rolex Special Issue
A few months ago, "Jocke" post a couple of photos and made mention of the Stiletto Magazine all-Rolex special issue. I was intrigued - I'd never heard of this magazine, so I decided to investigate.After some research, I found out Stiletto is a French fashion magazine - a very high quality and upscale one at that. I made a few calls to my contacts at Rolex and arranged to get a copy of the issue. I brought the issue with me while I was on vacation (needed to catch up on my reading) The Rolex Special issue has a publication date of December 2008:I'm quite surprised I haven heard more about this issue - it's positively amazing. Speedmaster Pro - Sulking
This is one of the things I like about mechanical watches, they have character. I have to say upfront that I am not too hung up about accuracy, if my watches are within a 10-15 seconds a day I am ok. So now I can say my speedmaster pro is an attention seeker. I wind it up, strap it to my wrist and face the day. Check its accuracy later and hell, its within a second a day. I kept it on for another day and it was still within a second. Then I saw my seadweller staring longingly at me so I took the omega off and wore the seadweller. Checked the omega the next day (I did wind it again) and it had lost 5 seconds! It wants to be worn or it sulks lol. Just kidding, I suspect wearing a mechanical watch vs. winding and leaving it on the table will result in different accuracy.

Wed 4th Dec ... LHR/BAH/DMMOn BA ..... I flow all the way to meet with my Daughter who is studying master in MIS GeorgeTown University.Couldn't imagine the freezing weather in NYC (OMG!!!).
