This auction offered a great number of items that are interesting for various reasons: antique clocks, dress watches, and some sporty models. Hi I picked up a Benrus at an Estate sale. It is in need of repair. I know there are several Benrus collectors here so I am hoping I can get some info. The movement is a swiss, unadjusted 17 jewels model BB4. It also has the numbers 4 X 7 and 26. At best it needs a new stem and crown and at worst a movement replacement. Is there a parts source and/or movement available or perhaps a different Benrus movement which will fit this watch. The photo is from e-bay but it is the same as mine.ThanksTony
Guys,Work is taking me to Hong Kong and then into mainland China for a week or so. I'm looking to acquire a Seiko 300M or 600M MarineMaster. I know these tend to be "Japanese only" models, but I've also heard of people picking these up in Hong Kong. Anyone know of a store with the higher end Seiko lines in HK or in the PRC?I'll also copy this to the General forum.
Well being the curious person I am, I got a aftermarket oyster bracelet look alike and set out to put it on my Seamaster. I'm not sure how I feel about it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
