Hublot 301.CK.1140.RX wrist watches news:
I have been a bit slow in following up to a previous thread where I said I had some other Bennie's I would post. But, here goes. I am guessing this is a 60's model, #3051. It is a manual wind. It has a stainless steel case with white dial and gold markers. Runs like a top! (Will need a service, as I don't know it's history.) Haven't had the case open to see the movement.I am always shocked to see how inexpensively these little jewels sell. I would truly recommend one to anyone out there that is considering dipping your foot into the 60's 70's pool! You can compile a nice selection for quite a small sum.
All, I have a ~20 watch balanced collection. Both the PP 5100J and the 3940J fill gaps in the collection, and I have an opportunity to buy one or the other. Since this will probably be my last Patek, if it were your choice, which would you go with and why?Rich
Hi,**it's 5167 of course, sorry**I understand that I'm asking this in a PP forum, but try your best to be unbiased! My first inclination was to get a AP RO first for my daily wear to rotate with my Cartier Santos, I alse have a Rolex DateJust which I dont wear very often..and I have just purchased a JLC Reverso for evenings/weekends which i absolutely love. I have yesterday parted ways with my Panerai PAM104 to recoup my credit card balance sheet. I really want to own a piece of AP RO as well because I love iconic watches and there the RO is definitely in this genre. On the other hand, as I see more Aquanauts, I love it more and more and I do not have a rubber bracelets which will come in handy when I travel a lot for work in South East Asia..such as Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia etc.. I also like how versatile it looks and of course I always wanted to own a PP!Advise please thank you!
Sold my PAM 312 last year to fund my other watches. After couple weeks, with the help of DavidSW, i found my new PAM 441 that i've been waiting for since 2012 released. Some images of this beauty...
