Breitling Emergency - My Review
Many watch manufacturers claimed to have created Pilot¡¯s watches in the distance and near past. Many, including the Flieger models from the middle of the last century, were manufactured from design criteria given by Pilot¡¯s Associations around the globe. The Breitling Navitimer is one of those timepieces can claim to be a true pilot¡¯s watch as it was adopted by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).However, in 1988 (not 1995 as many believe) Breitling introduced a revolutionary model that incorporated a unique feature that went beyond simple criteria such as easy to read, ease of use with thick gloves on, etc. This new model included a microtransmitter that emitted the globally recognised distress frequency of 121.5Mhz! Chanel J12 Ceramic, what to do with it?
Hello allI am new to the forum and only registered to ask a couple of questions regarding a watch I recieved from a friend. I have mostly worn simple citizen watches all my life and have been impressed by the quality and durability of them. That is about the extent of my watch experience...The watch in question is a Chanel J12 Chrono in white ceramic. I am 99.1% certain it is authentic but am hoping to hear about tell tale features of some of the fakes out there. My question is, what do I do with it if it turns out to be authentic? I will never wear this thing due to the fact both my girlfriend and I consider it to be the ugliest thing on the planet, and I'm not a very trendy fashion consience type of fella either. Do I take it to a pawn shop? Is there a recommended watch place I should go to that is near Bakersfield or Palmdale/Lancaster California? What is this thing worth used? Most of the new ones I've seen on Ebay and the like are going for $5k+Anyways, that's all I have,

I went to look at the Aqua Terra 8500 and instead walked out with this. But I do like the 8500 movement, guess I'll have to wait for the Planet Ocean one.
