Simply put, the watch does not disappoint. I loved it on the site, and couldn't wait to receive it. I hesitated at first, but then decided to go ahead and grab it, and for good reason--over 1 weekend the prices began to rise as high as $30!! I receive many compliments whenever I wear it. 1965 Hamilton Edwin Time Capsule
I thought I'd post this watch for the 60's fans! I first noticed it in Tom's new 60's calendars and when one popped up on the swamp, I had to have it! This model first appeared in the 1965 catalog and continued until the 68/69 catalog. It is unique in that, with the Whitney, it is the last "new" design to be included in the Medallion line and receive the 770 movement.The listing said that it was new old stock After it arrived, it is clear that the watch was owned by somebody for a while, but that he took good care of it and kept everything. The crystal has obviously been replaced (with a sloppy glue job, no less) and the bracelet is a period Speidel replacement. Still, it is a pretty nice looking watch though I may send it to the watch doctor to clean up the crystal. A very cool thing is that most of paperwork and boxes came with the watch so it it like a 1965 time capsule including two boxes, the "Certificate of Quality", the display card, and the original extra crystal. Hardly ever see Panerai homage (not counterfeit) watches mentioned here, so I figured I'd post my Marina Militare PAM homage that I just received today. The watch is 44mm, with an automatic Asian clone of the Unitas 6497 movement, modified with a GMT function. Polished SS case, internal cyclops (1.5X max ), decent lume, and a horrible cheap leather strap (replaced by the one pictured here). I just developed an appreciation for PAM's and the myriad homage variations out there, so I had to pick one up. Fantastic watch for the price (<$100 total). Looks great, flawless finish, and is keeping good time. How to remove back from a Oakley BULLIT watch?
been trying to change the battery of a oakley Bullit watch - I can get so far - ie removed 4 allen screws, then removed the crown and Stem but the cover still seems tight and I do not want to put too musch pressure or use a tool to press out the case from the strap. Can anyone help? or send like to a tech manual??

Which Breitling was this please?
The other day I saw a guy wearing a Breitling I really liked the look of. I didn't think to ask about it at the time, and now can't find it on their website, so guess it was an old model.Basically it looked like a smaller Avenger II, with date at 3 o'clock, 3 subdials, stick hands, and what looked to me like automatic / sweep centre seconds.Any ideas what this might be - were the older Avenger II's about 39mm, with centre seconds?
