Breitling A64350 wrist watches news:
Hi all,In the past I've typically purchased, Seiko, Casio, or lower end Citizen & Bulova. Lately I've been really considering purchasing a watch/watches in the $1,200 to $1,800 range, bit of step up then what I'm used too.Does anyone have any recommendations or solid brands which they have had great experiences with? any brands you would suggest to stay away from?Any feedback is appreciated
Took a peak inside the AP store on 5th ave. The 26400 is out of production? Does the value will go up. They don't make steel 44 offshore anymore.
Who says they can't get along?
I was indirectly involved with the return of a PP 5170 to PP for a complete repair/service. It was in an optically bad shape with broken smashed glass as the owner had been involved in a severe accident. The case was neither badly scratched nor dented, but appeared to have some dinks here and there from daily use. The breaking of the glass caused it to get in contact with the hour and minute pointers which got bent out of shape from the top toward the dial (from outside to inside along their length). The dial got scratched due to the broken glass. The watch was brought to the main AD of PP in Switzerland at the Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich who could not perform the repairs in their own little atelier. They sent it to PP in Geneva for repair. After two months the first call was made to the AD to enquire about the state of repairs. The status was unknown and we were told to call in a week. One week later the answer was that the watch was still being repaired, with no further details. About tw
I'm a sucker for the Roman numeral dials. I've seen tons for DD40 offered for sale here with the blue dials and the anniversary green dials, but I don't think I've seen a WG white dial Roman offered. Is it not a popular watch or just the opposite? I'm thinking of adding that as my next piece if I can find it for the right price. On that note, what are your thoughts on a DJ 41 being offered with the white dial Romans? I saw that they added the slate dial green Romans in SS. Fingers are crossed they add the white Roman to the DJ41 lineup.
