First of all a warning: The introduction to this fabulous watch may be quite lengthy because there are just so many incredible elements that deserve a thorough description and presentation.The initial response to this fantastic and fascinating watch is usually a reflection of the stunning aesthetics and, in particular, the unique case design. Vintage Divers in use?
I had an interesting exchange with Dennis about water resistance and vintage watches and I think we both wondered in the end: does anyone swim or dive with their vintage (25 year or older) divers (water resistance of let's say 10 bar or better)? Does my Omega need service?
I bought my Speedmaster Date 3513.30 13 months ago new from an AD and I'm most definitely not getting the full claimed 44 hours out of the power reserve. I usually only wear it a few hours at a time as I don't work with it on, am I wrong to assume it should be capable of going for a full 40+ hours after wearing it for about 4 or 5 straight? Seems odd I have to reset the time every other day on a watch that is only barely a year old.

Panerai Date Window
Hi,Have had my PAM 359 for 4 years now. Don't wear it a crazy amount thought. Maybe once every two weeks. I noticed yesterday that the date window doesn't flick to the next date. It starts rotating slowly around the 11 o'clock mark. This model has the Panerai in-house movement. Not sure if this is normal. I never thought it was weird until i started wearing my rolexes. That the date window snap into the next date at the 12 o'clock time mark. Should i be worried or is this right?Thank you

Browsing at a non AD
This weekend we were at a mall in Broward County. The mall has several jewelers and most are non AD. We were browsing and one young salesman saw my brother in law and i were both wearing SS Rolexes. He says they have some preowned Rolex. Would we like to see them.? Of course we would! While looking at his small stock, he looks at my brother in laws kermit and says, that's the joker. i said are you talking about his watch? He says yes. Lol...i said um, no thats called a kermit.If you were thinking of the all green model, it is called the hulk. I then mentioned i was not opposed to purchasing a preowned watch as my first Rolex was a preowned serti sub with the diamonds and sapphires on the dial. While he was talking about looking to find a sub for $2500 to $3000 for himself, i found a picture of my serti sub. I show it to him and he says, that's a yachtmaster right? I was like, um no. ...the yachtmaster has either a gold or platinum bezel depending on the model such as stainless
