Longines L3.247.4.87.6 wrist watches news:
Two months ago, when we first heard word of a new dial color for the Nomos Zurich Worldtimer, two things were certain: we knew it would probably be good;?and we knew we had to get our hands on one to assess the new dial in person and, of course, to share it with you. True Blue 2 OF 8 A list of global cities, in English, surround the dial. In person, the new blue dial is striking ¨C the hue is a dusty petrol blue that works well within the polished stainless-steel case. 3 OF 8 The blue color is surprisingly versatile and particularly complements neutral color tones. A Simple, Polished Case Material: Stainless SteelDiameter: 39.9 mm?Thickness: 10.85 mm 4 OF 8 At 10.85 mm, the stainless steel case is relatively thin and sits comfortably on the wrist. The shape of the case remains as pure?as most other Nomos models (with the exception of the Club).?All surfaces are uniformly polished, including the crown and pusher?at 2
This isn't a new watch, it was shown last year. And on top of that, all 50 pieces of Richard Mille's RM27-01 Rafa Nadal have long been sold. But, we had the chance to see the incredible light-weight, mega-casual watch yesterday and each time we come across one, it leaves us blown away. 2 OF 12 The RM27-01 is potentially the coolest casual watch on the planet. It is light as a feather (like, you have no idea), and was specifically developed for Rafa Nadal to wear while he plays in professional matches. The entire movement is suspended by four braided steel cables, just .35mm thick. Each cable is fixed to a tensioner that is pulled tight by the watchmaker and adjusted as needed. Because of this system, the RM27-01 can withstand acceleration up to 5000 G. 3 OF 12 The case is a grey anthracite polymer injected with carbon nanotubes that was specifically designed to take impact from both the outside and the movement on the inside itself. The case is mono
I've recently become aware automatic watches a few months ago and had to have one. After looking online, it seemed that the only way I could get one was by buying a high end knockoff. I put the idea on the shelf until one day I saw at Walmart that Armitron had entered into the automatic watch arena. I renewed my search for an inexpensive automatic watch. That's when I found the Orient website. After doing a week of research and reading reviews and opinions on forums, I am proud to say that last night I placed an order for 2 Orient Automatic watches for my 7th wedding anniversary. For her we bought the cdb01005w. A pretty rose gold watch case with mother of pearl face and a heart shaped skeleton window in the back. And for me we bought the cem75002d 100m diver. This watch is huge! I love the blue dial and the solid links. I can't wait to get my order. And with the fathers day coupon we only spent $150 a piece on the watches. I am so excited and had to share.
I BOUGHT THIS WATCH (MINUS THE BAND) AT MY LOCAL "SAVERS" THRIFT STORE FOR $7.OO. DID A LITTLE RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT ITS A LATE 1930'S GRUEN VERI-THIN "SHADOW" TONNEAU CASE. ON THE INSIDE OF THE BACK COVER IS STAMPED: GRUEN VERI-THIN CASE AND TIMED IN U.S.A. BY GRUEN WATCH CO., STAR WATCH CASE CO., 10K GOLD FILLED BEZEL, GUILDLITE BACK 724740 405 377. ON THE MOVEMENT IS STAMPED GRUEN WATCH CO. PRECISION 17 JEWELS VERI-THIN SWITZERLAND. THE VERI-THIN IS ENGRAVED ON THE TRAIN BRIDGE NOT ON THE RATCHET WHEEL. ALSO STAMPED IS "CONDRUMA GXC 850562 405 UNADJUSTED." I THINK IF THE VERI-THIN IS STAMPED ON THE TRAIN BRIDGE IT'S BEFORE 1940. THE GRUEN EXPERTS WILL VERIFY THIS. I'VE ONLY SEEN ONE OF THIS
Just bought this box. I know I've seen this box in sterling silver before and it dates to the early 1940's but never in Gold? Just curious about the box and looking for clues to get more detail about it. It seems to have these minor corrosion markes here and there in tiny specks I've spent an hour or so researching and no luck in the box and color combo this appears to be.
