MASSIVE Cleaning Machine Equipment Upgrade to my Shop ! ! ! !
Hey guys ! ! !My L&R Mastermatic that is probably 50+ years old finally died about a week ago.So, I was without a cleaning machine for about one week.I had the old L&R Mastermatic for about 4 years and it served me well but it was time for a MASSIVE UPGRADE ! ! ! ! ! I considered a Tempo 400, Mark V and the L&R Vari-Matic but all of these machines are also as old as the hills too.You can buy a reconditioned model but they will still cost in upwards of $2,000.00 with only a 90 day warranty.I thought about it for a couple of days and I decided to go long and invest in my future with a brand new machine still in the box.There were a couple of good ones to choose from but in the end I went with the German made ELMA RM90 (vibrating & rotating).Elma recently stopped manufacturing the RM90 (they came out with a new model) but Borel had one RM90 left on the shelf so I pulled the trigger.It arrived today!The new machine is fully automated and I can do up to 6 movements at one ti

Correct Papers
Hi All,I'm afraid this isn't the most interesting of topics but I would just like a piece of simple advice. I have discovered that the two cards that come with my Omega have the wrong watch serial number on them. They state that my watch is a 231.10.42.21.02.001 (which would be the white dial) whereas mine is the 231.10.42.21.06.001 (grey dial). I assume that the watch number on one of the cards is also incorrect as a result.Would you take the paperwork back and demand the correct papers/cards as it could affect resale value or am I really irritated about nothing? I suppose I'm especially interested in the views of you guys that flip watches or buy used a lot. Is this something you would pick up on if you bought my watch and demand a lower price as a result?Regards,

I saw this when I visited my AD. First I did not pay attention, then visited again next day. Then came the research part. Looked at the usual places, read the reviews. and got one Excellent finish, keeps time accurately, feels nice on the wrist, perfect size for these kinds of vintagey watches. Surprisingly easy too read.The AD had both version (I wanted rose or yellow). Yellow is not overtaken and more old look. Also I find Sedna gold a little too pinkish.
