Invicta 18054 wrist watches news:
Feast your eyes on one of the sexiest watch winders ever created. I will write more about it later, but this is the new GrandCircle winder by Dottling in Germany. There will only be 20 ever made. The furniture includes 52 watch winders, a safe, a bar, a clock, a cigar humidor, and yes - stereo. Dottling calls it grand, I call it Valhalla. Don't get your hopes up though, it costs 195,000 Euros.
Hi all,I hope I am posting this in the right place.I have little to zero knowledge of watches but I found this watch on top of a bin next to a bus stop a little over a month ago.I handed it into my local police station and was told if nobody claims it within a month I could come and collect it which is what I did today. The watch case, strap buckle and crystal glass is broken/damaged but the movement is working perfectly.I would basically like to know its value in its current condition should I want to sell it.If there is any more information I need to give then please let me know. Thanks in advance.Danza.
I would like to buy my fiance a watch for Valentine's day. I know what he likes, but I have zero knowledge about watches. Being a child of the internet age, I take my quest to the internet and this watch forum! Can you recommend me some watches? He likes:-Wind up watches (I believe they're called mechanical?)-Thin watches (the case part)-Titanium (other materials might also be good, I just know he likes this one)-Mesh band (although other bands might be good also)He doesn't like:-Gold-Thick bulky watches-Fussy watches (too many dials and things)I'm not sure if a thin wind up watch even existspresumably they to be bigger to accommodate the wind up mechanism. If so, feel free to post recommendations for thin battery operated watch or thin-ish wind up watches. Thin-ness is definitely the top priority, followed by wind up.My budget iswell actually I'm not sure what's reasonable for a watch. $200 or less?As you can see, I need some help. If it's not too much trouble, could you post some s
HI RIK, HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IN RESPECTS TO THE OLDER ETA CHRONOMETER MOVEMENTS COMPARED TO THE NEWER ONES; ALSO IN REGARDS TO THE ACCURACY BETWEEN THE TWO? PICTURED IS A LATE 1960'S RADO WITH ETA 2789 CHRONOMETER MOVEMENT. THANKS RIK. STEVE.
I just received my new Breitling Superocean II 44 Black just yesterday. This is my first luxury watch purchase after owning Movado, Timex, Uniform Wares in the past. I did a lot of research and wanted a dive watch. Initially, I purchased a new Tudor Pelagos from a seller here and the watch had a faulty in-house movement. I was really quite disappointed, although I was promptly refunded which eased the pain a bit. After being refunded, I thought, it's time to save for a Rolex Submariner. However, one thing bothered me...my 40mm watches look slightly undersized on my wrist. I continued to save for the Sub. Then I stumbled backwards upon the Superocean II 44 in Black and began to look at images online. There's really not that many great photos out there, not a ton of instragram posts with this one...but I really liked the few that I saw. I pulled the trigger earlier this week with Alfred (FNFZ4), who was wonderful to deal with and just received the watch yesterday. It looks so good in per
