- Very nice item. I've tried the Garmin Edge equivalent, and this one blows it away. I liked that it was wrist mount vs. bike mount.

Rado R20758155 wrist watches news:
In the world of affordable watches, there's a lot of variation in terms of design and concept, giving us lots of watches to be interested in, talk about and occasionally pursue for purchase. But within those watches, there is little variation in the mechanical movements driving them. Under $1,000 is dominated by Seiko and Miyota these days with the occasional Swiss or Chinese offering. Over $1,000 and you see the Swiss regulars, ETA and Sellita, with the occasional Soprod, and the rare in-house movement. Nothing wrong with any of them, but seeing the same movements over and over can get a bit stale, if only from my perspective as a reviewer. So, when I heard that a new brand called Ophion was using a TechnoTime movement I had never seen before, I was immediately very excited. Based out of Spain, Ophion decided to really do something interesting, manufacturing their watch in Germany, using a Swiss TechnoTime manual wound movement with a 5-day power reserve, and charging a remarkable 1,30
Last month in New York City, TAG Heuer celebrated the launch of their Carrera - Heuer 01 chronograph with a spectacular event featuring new brand ambassador Tom Brady. The Carrera - Heuer 01 is a milestone watch for TAG Heuer. Besides being a manufacture automatic chronograph at a very attractive price, it is a major product launch for the brand's new CEO, Jean-Claude Biver. Recently, HODINKEE caught up with TAG Heuer's Head of Products, Marc Walti, for a technical discussion about the movement in the Carrera - Heuer 01. 1 OF 5 2 OF 5 HODINKEE: How does the Calibre Heuer 01 differ from Calibre 1887? (Note: the TAG Heuer caliber 1887 is manufactured by TAG Heuer, and is derived from a basic design from Seiko Instruments, which uses a tilting pinion design – the latter having been invented by Edouard Heuer in 1887 as an alternative to the lateral clutch system.)TAG HEUER: The base movement for the new Calibre Heuer 01 is the Calibre 1887. Here's an Omega Constellation you don't see every day. I just got the case NOS and fitted a module from another watch (the correct type - Frontier 1602):I'm guessing that for some of you, this watch goes against everything you hold dear. But it is a real OmegaWhat do you think? Yay or Nay on the retro LED Omega?-abe.
as promised, here are the pictures. i tried to get some of the details. if anyone is considering getting one of these, i highly recommend pulling the trigger. this watch is fantastic! here you'll see my ONE complaint, where the chrono hand doesn't line up perfectly with the 12 o'clock mark. i wonder if there's a way of adjusting that.i love the skeleton hands and the rings around the subdials.the hammy engraving on the side is a slick touch and different than typical engravings i'm used to.the SS crown with black and red chrono buttons is a unique touch.
Hypothetically speaking...would you light up your CC if you could get a Daytona at MSRP? Let's assume the card would be paid off in 3 months.
