Patek Philippe 3919J wrist watches news:
2210.51.00, I have had my seamaster planet ocean for only 6 months & just three days ago i noticed that it was no longer holding it's 44hr charge. This is the second seamaster that i have owned and both have now had the same problem???Does anyone know why? & will it keep on happening, my AD now has the watch as i brought it back today for them to fix & they kindly said that they would re-validate my warranty, in other words give me another 3yr's, but im still worried that it's going to keep on happening, is there any way that they can upgrade the components inside the watch so that they are stronger or more reliable ????What are my options, i don't want to buy another watch or sell it as it is one of the best looking watch's on the market & has kept accurate time +- 2 sec a week at the most.??
Breitling introduced their first BlackSteel, using the SkyLand model, in 2008. Since then several BlackSteel models have been brought out. These are all limited editions and include the Super Avenger BlackSteel (featured here), the Avenger SeaWolf Chrono BlackSteel and the BlackBird BlackSteel. BlackSteel describes any watch in the Breitling catalogue that has a Steel case and has a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black finish using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). DLC offers hardness, smoothness and high levels of wear resistance. PVD is used to describe any material bonding process using condensation by vaporising the coating material. This can be achieved in a few ways but Breitling use high temperature vacuum evaporation. The process is very similar to electroplating. The watch components to be plated (cases, crowns, bezels, push buttons, screws, etc) are placed in an hermetically sealed chamber. A vacuum is created within the chamber. A negative voltage is applied to the components. Th
In going through my father's estate items, I ran across this watch. As you can see the case is broken.I am torn as to what to do. The watch was actually my father's 25 year service award although it really does not have any sentimental value to me. It is engraved on the back with his name and company. Is the case repairable where the one piece is broken off or would I need to look for a parts watch to find a case?Is it even worth it or should I just sell it as a part's watch? The watch is keeping perfect time (at least for the last 24 hours).Thank you in advance to the group.
Couldn't be happier. I really liked the AMG, but I lost my love for Titanium (just too gray for me). The opportunity came up for a trade, so I went for it.Here's my new IWC
Had some fun the other day with a 10X loupe and my iPhone. Got me thinking...Who would like to educate me on the significance of these symbols, so beautifully crafted on the gold oscillating weight?
